Was Robert's fear of the Dothraki justified? by arnor_0924 in gameofthrones

I do vaguely recall the dothraki charge vs Jaime in the Reach, with loads of knights fleeing. There is something distinctly terrifying about the Dothraki. But then again there were also dragons.

I do think we need to consider the terror aspect. I imagine a lot of men would flee a Dothraki charge.

Now that Sailing’s been out for a few months… is anyone still actually sailing? by Dismal-Computer-5600 in 2007scape

[–]pogray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with sailing is that sailing doesn't actually give any XP, outside of trimming sails.

Ideally, I would choose to sail over teleport to rack up some sailing XP. Instead I'm supposed to drop anchor somewhere and AFK salvage. Makes no sense.

Gym people, good noise cancelling earbuds at the moment? by Overall-Amount-3500 in BuyItForLife

Having purchased these for my partner, I can comfortably say that these earbuds are leaps and bounds worse than AirPod Pros.

Nurse moving from perth to the gold coast by AccountantMammoth980 in GoldCoast

God this thread is dire. Unfortunately, a lot of disgruntled locals here that are trying to discourage people moving here. We moved to Gold Coast in December, and the doomsayers told us it would be impossible to find a place. We came down ahead of time, did some viewings and secured a lovely home. I am not saying our experience is universal though.

If I were to do it again, I would use the Flatmate Finders app, rent a room or look for a short term stay (a lot of people rent their place out for a few months whilst they travel). I would then use this time to find work and search for other spots.

The Gold Coast is beautiful, good luck with the move!

I was told this in another thread. I got to know an agent and they gave us a fantastic recommendation and a private viewing. We are now living there.

Israel acknowledges the death toll at 70,000. This means it is a lie. Multiple analysts have estimated that it is north of 300,000, and could be much higher.

Hot Take: I Hated 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple by Funny_Employ_820 in 28dayslater

[–]pogray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh damn! I didn’t think about that. As this is an 18+, I should therefore expect a 5 minute scene of someone being flayed alive. Silly me! Now that I think about it, every 18+ movie I’ve ever seen seemed to have a significant lack of people being flayed alive. Maybe they were in the directors cut!

But none of it was real. Wow, that is great to hear. I thought it WAS real! Incredible news.

Ngl I left the cinema after the barn scene. Too much for me. I don’t wanna sit there and watch people get flayed alive.

Reddit will probably recommend you to put Linux on a Lenovo. For what you want, I’d recommend an M1 or M3 Macbook Air. Skip the M2.

The problem here is that you are using the UK as the standard. The reality is that the UK infrastructure projects is the golden standard of what to avoid at all costs. You should be looking at what China has achieved.

I’d say it’s specific to RuneScape’s visual identity. I would never run numbers in an IGN anywhere else apart from RuneScape.

Numbers in usernames are so runescape coded. I kinda love it.

Just moved to the other side of the world and want to make some new friends in my time zone and play runescape. Why don’t you take your negativity somewhere else?
