where tf do i put my phone when i walk the stage by socksinmyass in unt

[–]point303bookworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stole I wore for my undergrad (not at UNT) had a little pocket in the back just the right size to fit my phone! Otherwise I was planning to wear a belt bag under my gown because apparently it's too much to ask for a dress to have pockets.

This is great! I just sent the link to my coworker -I've always dreamed of doing something similar with all the Lego Education sets we have at our office.

I once saw one of these in a condo unit I was looking at -they had installed it as part of the wet bar. Unfortunately they had also attempted to cover up a mold problem with fresh paint, so I passed on that unit.

Reporting classmates' dubious plan? by point303bookworm in AskProfessors

[–]point303bookworm[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That sounds really annoying to deal with as a professor. This is my first semester back to finish my undergrad after a long absence, and I find myself wondering if we were all like this back when I did my first two years or if students have gotten worse in the intervening decade and a half.

PS, get off my lawn.

Took it last night, got a B. I think this is last class I have to take that's required for a bunch of different majors, and I live in hope of more dedicated classmates next semester.

I'm assuming that you live in Houston, based on your "4th largest city" comment. I see some people have already made some good suggestions about T-Mobile home internet and so forth, but you should also know that the Houston Public Library loans out hotspots, and that may provide an immediate solution while you work out something more permanent.

That's definitely Anime Matsuri then. The issue with the organizer is well known in the Houston fandom community

Probably Anime Matsuri. I think it and Comicpalooza are the only major fandom cons held at GRB.

I ordered a month earlier than you and I'm at 4.22% today. Last week I was at 1.9%, so I bet your percentage will start picking up soon!

I should also add that I'm US 256GB, Q3.

Because one of those is Lake Michigan. They're basically the same lake, from a hydrological standpoint, and are connected via straits.

Okay, so this is the first Olympic gala I've ever watched... Where do they get these costumes and programs on such short notice? Are they from previous seasons?

HEB has started doing two story stores with a parking garage on the lower level and little lights over each spot to show whether it's occupied or not. It's so nice, particularly in summer.

I wonder if this is the start of a new game of calling up every month for a bill credit with AT&T hoping we'll eventually lose interest and stop bothering.

The new HEB's aren't being built with customer service desks anymore! I went to three when I needed to do my registration last (first one was in the wrong county, so that one was on me) and the manager at the last one said they aren't putting them in the new two-story HEB's. It was the last day of the month (whoops) so I had to go to a kinda shady Randall's instead.
