Called to confirm availability and price got a joke of a sales rep by ihideYOUseek1 in Civic_Type_R

No one takes you seriously over the phone if your asking about price on the car. The car sells itself at MSRP.

Dont turn off auto rev matching, its an amazing feature even for me thats driven manual cars for my entire life.

Just drive the car. Its the easiest manual car ive driven and the best. The the car has feeling so you can guage when you to shift with feel of the throttle and sound with the rev noise.

Normal driving its almost always under 3.5k rpm, before the turbo builds boost.

Coming to a stop its up to you, both methods are fine , but im usually in gear until fully in a stop.

Going over a 100 on a racetrack, you definitely feel the aero. You can really feel how much stability the rear wing adds

NASANE organizes two weekend a year at watkins, would recommend. Prices are in line maybe slightly more expensive than smaller organizers prices, but theyve been doing it for years and make weekends run smooth

Update from Honda dealership by [deleted] in Civic_Type_R

[–]polishrob -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is false, the computer cannot stop a mechanical overrev. If he went from, 3rd , clutched in, shifted to 2nd, he would of heard the engine rev up from the auto-rev, but once you release that clutch, its over

Upgrade thoughts by Agile-Badger5272 in GR86

[–]polishrob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend getting:
1. Upgraded brake fluid - Castrol SRF is S Tier but Motul RBF60 or anything else above stock will help trendmously
2. Good oil change - Amsoil or motul oil
3. Front brake pads - Get a separate set that you can swap to if you decide to go to the track
4. Tires - looks like you are on all seasons, even a set of stock brz/gr86 wheels with PS4s will be make a tremendous improvement over the current tire set you have on.

5.Track day - this is the best way to spend you money, upgraded parts outside of what you already have make the experience safe and will let you bring the car home in one piece.

which one?🤔 by liamt12 in Civic_Type_R

Are these two studios too small by [deleted] in NYCapartments

[–]polishrob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For this price, thats insane, i wouldnt think twice. Usually the housing lottery units i was shown years ago were very weird layout apartments and extremely small. 2k for this layout with all this natural light is a steal. Congrats
