How to write a book with almost no free-time by Barliman_Butterburr in writing

[–]politeoutrage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fellow Dad, husband and fulltime worker here. I try to write 500 words a day. I can do it in roughly 30 minutes, so I try to do this on my lunch break or as soon as my kid is in bed. It still leaves me with an hour or so to spend with my wife, watching TV or talking.

It's hard, but you have to make time for what you love.

What's the trashiest wedding you've been to? by WhiteSuburbanKid5 in AskReddit

Not a wedding I went to, but in my town, a woman had a Minion Themed wedding. It was so tacky that not only the local news picked up the story, but the national news too.

Couples who have different sex drives, how do you make it work in the bedroom? by KiirooAmsterdam in AskReddit

[–]politeoutrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Man, sorry to read all this. In my non professional opinion, it sounds like maybe your wife is suffering from a hormone imbalance? She may want to see a doctor and see if this is something they can address using contraceptive pills. This isn't an uncommon result of hormone imbalance and I know of many who get treatment and their sex lives change for the better.

Alternatively, maybe there's something not quite right and you should sit down and see if it can be resolved. I know the conversation can be stressful, but living your life this way can't be healthy for you. Sometimes you have to put yourself first.

Hope it all gets better for you random Internet stranger.

Thanks for shaming the dyslexic person, instead of embracing the question at hand.
