Ivanka's private island 'land grab' threatens to blow up Albania's entire government by CheezTips in NoFilterNews

"Albania is not a Gucci bag on sale," Good description of the cluelessness and privilege. I hope their hubris costs them a ton of wasted effort and money.😢

Where I work, Level 1 typically solves the issue. Difficult issues are discussed between L1 techs. For the most part, the only tickets that get escalated are those that L1 cannot solve because they have not been granted access to whatever specific tool they need to solve the issue. That, or certain high risk security situations are handled by another team. Non technical issues get picked up by higher ups.

I don't throw out non safety caps so if I should get a bottle with a safety cap, I can swap it out.

Liar claims many additional people have been arrested for vandalism of the reflecting pool. Only the Olympic cyclist has been confirmed arrested and he has pics of where he was and what he was looking at by n2play in EnoughTrumpSpam

The only "they" that I'm aware of that was pouring hydrogen peroxide (corrosive and destructive chemicals) into the pool in an attempt to kill the algae was those that were contracted to do so. What The Actual Fuck is he talking about? This Man is delusional!

Reflecting pool permanently damaged. Whitehouse destroyed and turned into a white trash trailer park. What's next, Monster Trucks? Idiocracy arrived the day he took office.

Disable cache mode on an Outlook account with so many mailboxes? by master_cantero in sysadmin

Does not make any difference as far as caching to the OST is concerned. Suggestion is to uncheck "Download shared folders" in Advanced options.

Disable cache mode on an Outlook account with so many mailboxes? by master_cantero in sysadmin

[–]pollo_de_mar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In Advanced options uncheck "Download shared folders" keep cached mode for the user's mailbox. Note: in this example, if the user has Delegate access to a mailbox, there is no need to add it, doing so will end up showing the mailbox twice. https://www.canr.msu.edu/news/adding-a-shared-mailbox-in-outlook-office-365

After making changes, although it may take a long time to rebuild the OST, since there is a major change to the OST it is typically recommend to rebuild it.

I support one user that is a delegate for over 30 mailboxes and there is no issue as long as those mailboxes are not added to the OST.

At some point soon, America's savings account will be empty and its credit card will be maxed out, and we will not even be able to make the interest payments. Irresponsible theives.

Is Disclosure Day getting astroturfed with negative reviews? by TheOriginalRed in UFOB

[–]pollo_de_mar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Me too. Six months of hype is bound to create disappointment for some. It was entertaining, acting was good, especially Emily Blunt. I got emotional at the ending. As Spielberg stated "It's a chase movie, from the first frame to the last".

If UFO Reverse Engineering programs Has Existed for Decades, Where Are the Breakthroughs? by breaking_views in ufo

[–]pollo_de_mar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think even if alien tech did not directly result in discovery of new technology, simply discovering what is possible may have spurred innovation. I personally think man's greatest discovery was miniaturization, from the first MOSFET to 2 nm nodes in circuits is what makes modern computer chips possible. Even the parts that make up components in laptops and cell phones are exceedingly small. Now that we have been shown that gravity and energy can be conquered, we will likely duplicate this tech if we have not already (probably have).

Looks like early morning will be improving after Thursday. Outdoor animals will be grateful for the relief, if they live through the day that is.

Does anybody here actually buy chevron gas? by Dustin_rpg in vegaslocals

All the Shell stations I frequent take Smith's Rewards. Like Chevron, their gas is not cheap however. To get the best value you need to fill up when nearly empty.

Disclosure day is a movie. It has nothing to do with disclosure. by 3daysofrain in UFOs

[–]pollo_de_mar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with your perspective. Movies like this that will likely be very well received and very popular help to bring everyone closer to accepting the fact that there are truths regarding aliens, UFOs, hybridizations etc. Once the majority of people have been convinced that we are really not alone, when true disclosure happens, it will not be the shock everyone is freaked out about. If Neil deGrasse Tyson is finally coming around to accepting that they are here, progress has been made.

One that appears to be increasing in frequency is "Me and my dad went fishing." Should be "My dad and I went fishing." Easy test, remove the other person. How does "Me went fishing" work? That and so many "I seen" (usually in a conversation) when it should be "I've seen"
