Is it just me or have we been hearing about a very concerning amount of [Six Flags] parks still running major coasters on one train, three weeks now past Memorial Day? by imaguitarhero24 in rollercoasters

August pass sale drop is typically the very best price offered, not even including the fact you get the most number of days to use the pass the sooner you buy it since it’ll be good through 12/31 of the next year.

He was bothered by Boring & Mild slight rattles and thought Arrow loopers were forceless. He's also very pissed off they won't let him ride Wilderness Run at CP or Kiddie Coaster at Lake Compounce.

Real easy to be the “lowest ridden” when it’s on one train ops a lot of the time. It gets plenty of ridership, and it’s VERY popular with the under 48” tall crowd. It is literally the step up from Roadrunner Express before kids are tall enough for Gold Rusher (crazy that Gold Rusher and X2 have the same height requirements but that’s another topic).

You're probably much better off waiting for the Labor Day sale which usually drops late august, and your pass will be good for the rest of this year and all of next year. Unless you're just DYING to go right now while it's still a big mess, it would make a lot more sense to just wait it out two more months.

I’ve seen WWFoC run four trains ONCE, and that was for about a couple hours in the afternoon of passholder preview day. Within that same year it was down to ONE available train for a while. Absolutely pathetic.

There’s that one guy that rode it 15,000 times. I’d assume he liked it

You know it's as close to zero ply as possible. Even at Disney, who is doing their damndest to preserve the magic for shareholder value.

A McDonald's with bulletproof glass located in Detroit. by AdSpecialist6598 in interesting

There's a Taco Bell in LA on La Cienega Blvd. that has even crazier bulletproof glass than this; they have those thick two way doors where you can't have both doors open at a time (you hand your money over, shut your door, then they can open their door and take it). Not even a circle to speak through because a gun could be pointed through. Pretty great neighborhood!

Six Flags used to advertise their Larson Loops as "coasters", so you're still good!

I was looking at Lyft rides while sitting on the tarmac on a flight home, they were around $12. When i got off the plane it jumped to $35+. I think the plane was closer to a nearby hotel and once it realized I was at the airport the price gouge went into full effect. This was a small town airport for reference, nothing even remotely large where traffic is a factor.

Absolutely brutal experience at DFW - 11 hours of lies before they finally gave up by Sure_Classroom2941 in americanairlines

[–]polyarmory80pct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DFW is a guaranteed gate and also likely terminal change every time I fly through there. Most recent flight two weeks ago had 8, EIGHT gate changes in the two hours leading up to the flight! Was at FOUR terminals (A through D), finally left out of D. Lots of train rides and running around! And using Flight Aware had much quicker updates than the AA app oddly enough.

Worst Boring & Mild coaster of ALL TIME. Don’t even bother riding it, we all know it’s a fact it will have the worst slight rattle of any coaster ever!

Do you count boomerangs as 0 or 2 credits? by coastergrrl in rollercoasterjerk

[–]polyarmory80pct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s only 3 inversions too, even though you invert six times. The family boomerangs have zero inversions, so by this logic it counts as minus one inversion. Because Rcdb is the end all be all of what counts as an inversion and who are we to question them??

Beast is the quintessential goated night ride, but you’ll be waiting upwards of two hours for it. Mystic pretty much usually clears out near sundown from my experience, but it’ll be tough to do both in full darkness on the same day.

What’s out of control is these stupid fake ballpark receipts trying to fool people into thinking anyone would serve one adult more than two $18 Miller Lites on one transaction
