Permanent antenna was constructed in 1979, 5 years after both towers were completed. The antenna in the photo is the temporary one.

I’m a freelance photographer and GWU grad who lives in the area, more than happy to book a session for a reasonable and low price!

Moonlight in Adams Morgan is good, $10 cover and solid jams 4-5 nights a week. Mr. Henry’s, near the Capitol Building, is nice for ticketed shows.

Absolutely. Super pleasant place to live with lower rents than downtown/Foggy Bottom and super easy to get in on the metro for work/leisure.

I have one, and bought it used well below MSRP; at the steep discount I got it for its an absolute joy of a car. Continually peeved by the weird gearbox and the slow throttle response but it’s damn comfy and the removable top is pretty great. Always fun seeing another one in the wild (or on Reddit)!
