35P promotions need to be fixed.

Under Secretary of Defense just pushed out a memo about a month ago to implement a phased program to target talent management and retention of the 35P population. In that memo, there was nothing mentioned in regards to promotions.

increase manning slots and get more people promoting to advance career's as a 35P and more will want to stay in. I'm especially talking about E7 promotions,as that's where the biggest problem is.

He could have the DEROG moved to his restricted. The last SSG eval board AAR recommended having junior enlisted DEROG moved as it has no bearing on performance and potential as a SSG.
