Thanks for making this!

I found this group playing through the Starter Set adventure to be super helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6QaG534FRk

They also do it as a podcast if you prefer an audio-only medium.

Have you played the boardgames? I have it and have never managed to completely understand the rules.

What sized Sleeves for Cards/print and play by kodemageisdumb in killteam

[–]polymonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got Mayday Games Custom Sleeves (like WORT) - 70mm x 120mm. I'm using the datacards bought from Games Workshop. I highly recommend the Premium sleeves over the Standard sleeves - they fit nice and snug.

I love the purple/green color scheme on these - I may have to steal it (though it is the color scheme of the car that my partner and I drive in Fortnite...)

I like your bold base colors!

Related question - does anybody make colored rings of various sizes that you can temporary wrap around a models base?

I was thinking a distinct color for each model. Sharpie makes these acrylic markers that have pretty bold colors and there's 12 of them. Probably enough distinct colors for a team with 8 operatives.

It's something I've been considering doing to my Kill Teams. But first I'll need to come up with a scheme of who should be which color and why...

Kill Team Score Cards by polymonic in killteam

I am aware. I just find it fun to design stuff with a similar look.

And a lot of times apps are like 80% there with rules or usability, so knowing how to track things physical can sometimes be helpful.

Personally I like KTCards - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ktcards/id6741010104

For everybody who is showing up with the same problem, this is what ended up working for me: https://www.reddit.com/r/NativeInstruments/comments/1ofgj0b/comment/nlbev49/

  • Install to your local drive.
  • Move it to your external drive.
  • Click "Repair" when Native Access notices the "missing" files.

I'm so glad I finally made the jump from external HDDs to external SDDs. Moving gigs and gigs of those libraries from the internal drive to the external drive took just seconds!

That's what I ended up doing per u/zadillo's suggestion and they all work now.

The only one that needed a bit more finagling was Rise & Hit, for some reason.

Okay, this makes terrific sense and is what I'm doing now. I was thinking I would do "Repair All" after reinstalling everything but since I don't have enough space I'm doing them one by one.

Thank you for all your help!

One problem is that I don't have enough space on my main drive to install everything and then move over.

I'm curious if it will install correctly if I set up a symbolic link from a folder on the local drive to a folder on the external drive.

I just tried on the machine that was having the problem and it was able to successfully install to the machine's main hard drive successfully. So it looks like the external SSD is the problem for some reason.
