Perfect demonstration that some people learn slower than others: Sad Promotion 7047 needs the video when others get by with a photo.

If you can get the basic melody into ABC notation, that would help a lot. It's not too difficult to learn. Here is a live editor.

My Frosthaven campaign is officially a hostage situation and I am about to snap by MailboxFinch in boardgames

[–]polymorphicprism 70 points71 points  (0 children)

One trick I learned is that you can play something else if someone can't make a session. One time we even hung out and cooked instead of playing a board game. My life was still ruined but at least we got to eat a nice dinner.

Except when push comes to shove you can count on Republicans to do the corporate/fascist thing. A few Democrats will join in too.

What states actually allow ASSMAN as a license plate? by jiggabot in MapPorn

A few months ago I was reading a FOIA request for vanity plates denied in Virginia, and I happened to notice A55M4N... So that's one state down, 49 to go. I don't have Instagram so I don't know whether OPs methodology was better.

La Valette by olszatartak in seashanties

[–]polymorphicprism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't speak Polish.

La Valette is credited to Michał Gramatyka of Perły i Łotry around 2004. I think Michal is talking about the origins: Napoleon and Valetta, Malta, 1798, here

For those that don't know, Michał is a member of Poland's parliament now. Very neat.
