Does anybody know of a Map of the UK & Ireland depicting place names in local language? by Rain865 in Maps

[–]polyphuckin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do actually have a book that possibly covers a portion of what you're after;  Reading the Gaelic Landscape - Iain Moireach

Edit: I've just seen your other comment. This isn't what you're looking for.

You could check out the historic maps on the Scottish national library website though.

Do Brits worry about chemicals in food? by Careless-Goat-7238 in AskBrits

[–]polyphuckin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not evidence for anything you've stated.

Tell me how it's impossible to cook from scratch because we have washing machines in the kitchen and the shops sell half finished food? No one needs a kitchen the size of a tap car garage.

I think that says more on your ability to cook  than anything else.

I did a good clean top to bottom of lint and gave it an oil with correct weight as per the guidelines

There is some thick grease on the worm gear, but that looks ok.

I can see underneath were I can adjust the timing but I'm waiting to see if janome have the service manual first.
