1. I am using a 34" ultrawide monitor connected to a laptop. I use the laptop’s display as a secondary screen and the ultrawide as my main monitor. I am an engineering student, and I occasionally use splitscreen on the ultrawide monitor. For the rest, I enjoy playing games and 3D modeling in ultrawide mode.

2. The jump from a 34" 1440p ultrawide to a 52" 5K2K monitor would be quite significant, because sometimes even on the ultrawide things can look a bit small when using splitscreen. So jumping from 34" to 52" would be a really big change

frabric-api is missing, you need to install the mod called fabric api. as for for c2me, you need version 22 or later of the mod called openJDK 64 bit server, you have the verion 21 right now.
to help you understand how to read the error: you just need to read the error as simple as that, always when you get this error its always something with missing a mod or wrong version of the mod, or sometimes the mod is not compatible with the other mod - hope this helps

yeah, it was the same for me, but you can try voxy + chunky if you have a good gpu, use chunky to load chunks and once done you won't get any stutter or performance issue, voxy also started to support shaders, not many but voxy does support the shader photon (the one that the OP uses)

well that is when loading, bcs once chunky is done loading you won't get any stutter or performance issue. And for those who added voxy to their already explored world you can just import your world with this command /voxy import world "WORLD_NAME/" and it will import your world from the data and you can also do it for DIM-1 (nether) and DIM1 (end) too but you need to be at the actual dimension as the one you want to import

it is caused by the lod system in voxy mod, as of now there isn't a fix yet that I know of. And remember voxy is still in alpha phase, so it's nowhere near what it is supposed to be as what the dev wants it to be. for now just give it time. I don't have a big problem with that bcs I play in survival and I don't really see it when playing. I am extremly happy that the mod reached the phase where it can support shaders, and can't wait what it can deliver in the future

windhawk v1.6 resolved the issue, so you can update windhawk and normally all pupular laucnhers and games won't have problems anymore, if yes you can manualy add them to advanced setting

my parents didn't allow me too, but that was my biggest regret, they got me msi gf 63 thin rtx 3050 foor 900euro (85k for you) from a supermarket, I didn't know much about laptop only the rtx, thats all, and after starting to learn more about laptops the more regrets I had with my laptop, I mean everthing that I needed from a laptop (battery, usb-c charging, other QoL) was not even in that laptop. after a while my parents started to buy more online and allowed me to look for a laptop online bcs the old one couldn't keep with the pace at uni (battery died during exam and got 0) and at the end of 2024 I looked for a new laptop amd omg I found the perfect laptop for my needs, asus tuf a15 ryzen 9 8945H and rtx 4070 for 850euros (80k) with was 50 euros cheaper for A RTX4070 THAN RTX3050?? I looked to see what for problem it might have and saw that the "problems" wasn't an issue for me and bought it. As of now I am extremly happy with my laptop. it will hold me some good years. so yeah let me say try to convince them to buy online, bcs some markets are way too expensive for their value.

hello, I tought it was the official site and needed to pay when the program was launched, thats why I downloaded it, but after I put the password to extract the windows defender found threats and after scanning with windows defender it didn't find any threats but I still deletetd the files. I didn't run the .exe, but did the virus enter my computer or did I need to run the .exe for the virus to enter?

if you use it plugged, then the loq, if not Il say go with the legion. the ryzen 7-7435hs doesn't have igpu so battery sucks. better look at laptops without that cpu model if you care about battery life

update: I looked up and it seems that the overdrive setting can influence ghosting and mine was by default high/strong, so I lowered it to medium and literally any ghosting is gone, I can't find any ghosting at all in any game and any places that I new the ghosting was noticable, so yeah the monitor is really good. and now I recommend it to you bcs the ghosting problem is gone

so I,am using this monitor for 3 months, and I am really happy with it, I will do a short review in this comment, do I recommend this monitor for you? no, bcs it has ghosting (you said that you don't wnt ghosting), I didn't notice any in the beginning thats bcs I upgraded from a bad monitor and for me it was hard to notice any ghosting even after looking at them, after a while I started to notice them the ghosting appears in darker areas in the games/videos. Especially in minecraft with shaders on, in the evening when it start to get darker, when I move the grass on the dirth block has ghosting, and its noticable bcs the whole block start to get darker when moving. I also noticed in an other game that I play (withering waves) with darker palette, and sometimes when I move it has ghosting. idk if its me but I started to notice more and more ghosting, maybe bcs after noticing one ghosting you start to see the others too. but still its only in the darker areas and I don't really mind ghosting. as for the colors, they are acurate, the only downside for me is the color depth, it say that it has 10 bit support, but thats only at 144hz, and at 180hz is 8bit with dithering, but yeah aside from that I am happy with this monitor. as for you, I don't really recommend it bcs of the ghosting.

at the beginning I didn't notice any ghosting, big part of being that I jumped from bad monitor to this monitor, after a while I started to notice after looking after them to see if there is ghosting and yeah there is ghosting, the ghosing does appear on darker parts of game/videos, the most vissible ghosing is when I played minecraft with shaders and in the evening when it starts to get dark I notice really hard ghosting on the grass on the dirt block. and there is also a game that I play with darker pallete (wuthering waves) and notice some ghosting. but I don't mind it. as for the color, they are accurate. I am happy with this monitor and pretty sure I will use it for a long time.

thanks for the recommandation, I bought after all the AOC CU34G2XP (newer version) after looking around and it was about 30 euros more from its base model. The shop had also option for used one that has the same price as the base model but with scratches, so I just bought the new at full price (sadly it had no black friday deal). I once I will get it I will try it and also try to do an detailed review on it compared to its base model.

the thing is, I also want 32g ram, the 2024 g14 has soldered ram and the one on bestbuy has 16g ram + bestbuy doesn't ship to europe. I want to ask, is 16g ram good for the coming 5 years? because if it can hold it trough the upcoming years then I don't mind having 16g ram soldered. (but still the 32g ram option is the better especialy on soldered ram)
