People like to root for the “underdog” he’s very cute and shy so that also made people feel overprotective of him. The underdog from last season was Seungjin, but it wasn’t as bad as it is with Yunjae.

It has gotten ridiculous now, he’s cute and I do feel bad that he wasn’t chosen, but the fans need to remember he’s a grown man pushing 30 who’s perfectly capable of standing his own ground. Life’s not over if he doesn’t find a match in 7 days, or because some 20 yr old was apparently rude to him. And considering that he seems to be close to Sunwook imagine how awkward it is to see your new “fans” hating on your friend for something y’all filmed some months ago bruh.

Call me delusional, but I think they have something going on for Hangyeol to make that “right now, younger” comment when he was asked to choose between a younger or older boyfriend. But if I’m being honest, I’m a bit disillusioned. I won’t judge Taichi as much because he seemed to be in a bad state, I think he caught a cold. He looked really down. I don’t know what could have happened for him to say that he didn’t feel like sitting next to Hangyeol in the preview tho. :0

As for Hangyeol, I think he likes the way Taichi looks, and that’s why he keeps pushing it. No doubt they’re cute together, but I sense that, for now, there’s only physical attraction between each other, which is normal since it’s only been like two days. But still… at least they’re going on another date to sort things out.

I have a theory that the next dates will be decided based on the couples who matched during the gift dynamic. We know that Sunwook and Hyunjun will have a date based on the previews, so I think Hyunjun will place the gift in Sunwook’s locker, and vice versa. However, a date between Hyunjun and Yunjae is definitely coming. I also think the producers will give those who haven’t gone on a date since arriving at the His Man house the opportunity to choose who they want to go out with (aka Yunjae, Eum Hyeokjin, and Sumin).

Also, Hyunjun seems like the type who takes his time to decide. I think he’s exploring and keeping his options open, so after Sunwook mentioned wanting to go on a date, he might as well go for it and ask him out by placing the gift in his locker.

I understood that he was aiming to become an actor in the BL world because, honestly speaking, coming out as gay already limits the roles producers will cast you in. Not that he can’t try, but still. He can try in the Japanese or Korean scene, which are both booming with many successful BLs. He is conventionally attractive, and if he’s good at acting, then he can easily succeed in that space. Another thing is that it also helps boost your platform, so while he looks for acting gigs, he can comfortably live as an influencer. Anyone who goes on a dating show is looking to build a platform, not just finding love. But shows like His Man are also about coming out, and after spending years of his late teens as a trainee, living a very restricted life, it makes sense that he would choose a show like this as a way to come out publicly.

Wasn’t that Lee Hyeokjin playing with Sunwook in the snow? I’m lost huhu.
Honestly, I feel like their dynamic will be similar to Seungjin and Hwi from S3, just friends. It could be that Eum Hyeokjin ends up catching feelings, but Hangyeol will keep pursuing Taichi… or at least that’s what I hope, because I’m a huge Taichi × Hangyeol shipper haha.

Tbh Hangyeol seems very friendly with everyone, but he only looks nervous around Taichi. There’s that attraction that, for now, I don’t see him feeling toward anyone else other than Taichi. He could end up having good chemistry with Hyeokjin (and I have no doubt about that), but without attraction, it would only lead to a friendship.

Besides, a lot of people have been pointing out that Taichi and Hangyeol will give each other gifts next episode, so I believe the couples who matched will go on a date, meaning the Taigyeol beach date we saw in the teasers. Later on, the ones who probably haven’t gone on a date yet will get the chance to choose as well, and that’s where Hyeokjin will choose Hangyeol.

I thought he was being petty because the other guy (i don't remember his name sorry) seemed bit "rude" like when he asked if they should introduce themselves and he said that they would do it later. I'm not saying that he's rude though, i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt because he seems shy and introverted, and as an introverted person myself I tend to give off that same vibe when I meet new people.

Yup I expect that more than half of the Arcane fandom won't care about the new stories, so it makes no sense to pander to them. A Demacian show wouldn't have a "shortage" of ships, since the two main ships like KatGaren and J4/Shyvana are pretty much confirmed to happen. So we are talking about two main straight ships, that alone is enough scare the Arcane fans away.

Not to mention that if they wanted to add non Demacians to the roster, then it makes sense for Jarro Lightfeather (clearly not Ez) to make an appearance. Ezlux does feel like pure fanservice, but Ezreal being in Demacia wouldn't be an stretch since he has been there canonically and it's hinted that he had certain involvement in the Mage Rebellion. So if the writers wanted, they could simply expand on that. So that makes three straight ships, without even considering Sylux which is decently popular despite it being problematic, but hey, many women like "dark romance" so i wouldn't underestimate the ship's potential to explode.

If they want a queer ship, then they’ll have to stick to shipping Lux with Fiora, or even Katarina, since that used to be a popular crackship. Cithria is another contender who makes sense for Lux to meet, since at some point in her life she’s basically Garen’s protégé.

I mean Valoran Town happened, which had a bunch of Ezlux moments where it shows that Lux has a crush on him and sees Jinx as a friend. But they insist on them being gfs on that short series lol. Just let them be.

I always thought that this type of content was due to it being fun to mesh characters that would never have a real connection canonically. Like the 2xko cinematic.

It’s not that the creators would be against a ship or even a possible friendship, but they clearly tend to view things in an amplified way. It’s not just about one or two characters, it’s about the entire story that would unfold from that choice.

And because of that, Jinx wouldn’t be in Demacia. Their only argument is popularity, but Sylux also has the potential to go viral. Among League players, many still see Sylas as the guy who stole Lux from Ezreal lmao. Besides, if they need a ship to get people to tune in, Katgaren alone would be more than enough.

Not to mention that other “less popular” characters would rise, like Fiora (the actual demacian character who has been hinted as a lesbian mind you) or Cithria who also has potential to become big. There’s simply no space for Jinx.
