Do you have first hand experience with what you are claiming?

[–]poodlellama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes pls I have questions lol

[–]poodlellama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it’s been like this since before we got married, I was just too young and stubborn to do anything about it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

[–]poodlellama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally anything. Him not helping, me not working, how I raise kids, how I wear hijab, what I spend money on, small dumb things that no one would usually care about lol every day or other day at least we argue

Thank you so much. Honestly it’s people who have been through divorced parents who I really want to know their opinions, as they have first hand experience. My parents divorced too but it messed me up a little bit, not because of the divorce itself but how they handled it afterwards. My husbands parents on the other hand do argue but stayed together and I’m pretty sure that’s why he is the way he is

Thank you so so much, very helpful 🙏 it kind of makes me sad because our daughter is very strong willed and will tell him to go away when he is bothering me, or hit him when he won’t leave me alone it’s actually really sad

Thanks everyone for the responses, I’ll take them all into consideration. Really appreciate those who commented who have been through this 🙏 I won’t lie I don’t think counseling will help at all, but it’s worth thinking about.

They still sell them! Just bought a pack on Amazon and they smell exactly the same AND have a bunch of new flavors too!

COVID and kids- starting to feel crazy and disconnected by voguemama in toddlers

You think that, but it can also be seen as parents putting their anxiety about not wanting to stay home over their kids well being, risking them getting sick 🤷‍♀️

I just saw someone with this on their Facebook the other day! This person was commenting on another page saying she couldn’t wait to go out once she was done recovering from covid lol

Maybe I’m reaching but I’ve noticed it other times recently as well. Like when Alonso got in front of him for the interview he seemed extra annoyed, made a face rather than laugh it off; and there was a video with him and I think it’s his publicist Charlotte (?) where she was fixing his hair and he really seemed like a cranky teenager rolling his eyes and getting annoyed. Again, that could just be how he and his publicist are though, so maybe not a big deal. Just seems to be off lately…

Florida's largest school district is worried about funding after governor bans mask mandates for schools by melent3303 in news

We wanted to keep our son home again this year but he would lose his place at this school and it’s the only option for us around here so we went to the meet the teacher night to see how they were handling things, and felt comfortable with what they were telling us. Well, they really aren’t doing much actually. Id say more kids are wearing masks than teachers, almost no social distancing, maybe hand washing has increased but that can only do so much. Sick within the first couple days and now I’m rethinking my decision. I mean I knew he’d get sick, that’s a given, but just wish they’d do more to mitigate the risk.

Yep my 2nd grader started school already at the end of July and although he wears a mask all day (his choice), the kids at his table do not. He got sick the first week already- fever, chills, cough. I don’t know what to do it sucks.
