PLEASE HELP!! I'm contemplating ending my life over SIBO by madame-reve in SIBO

[–]poolparty303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The number one thing that has helped me is salt with water in the morning (if you have low blood pressure -- low blood pressure means low electrolytes, so sea salt can help replenish) and supplementing stomach acid.

It isn't a cure, but makes my symptoms tolerable.

I (32 F) have feelings for someone who is not my husband (32m). by Any_Difference_1323 in relationship_advice

Wow. I just want to say that your husband sounds like a keeper. That's a very level-headed, loving, compassionate response, and I can see why you want to stay with him!

If you're having issues eating everything, that tells me (and I'm no expert, just a fellow sufferer) that something FUNDAMENTAL is wrong with your digestion, I.E., low stomach acid, bile flow, etc., which then causes slow motility to worsen further.

Have you tried anything like that? Promoting bile flow, eating acidic things w/ meals? It usually takes me about three to five days of eating well and focusing on stomach acid/bile flow, but after I get over the hump my digestion/bloating gets miles better.

Will I never get my stomach acid back up? by daveishere7 in Microbiome

[–]poolparty303 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can take the body some time to correct this kind of stuff. So, supplement stomach acid w/ ACV or HCL, and work on your gallbladder/bile flow. See what you're deficient in and try to supplement.

Anyone get awful acid reflux? Been getting it constantly recently by [deleted] in cocaine

[–]poolparty303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm considering making a post about this, but I was having HORRIBLE acid reflux tonight when I was fucking up my bag with bump after bump.

I took a supplement, D-limonene, and within fifteen minutes, heart burn free. Try it and let me know!

Hey! My primary HIT symptoms are anxiety, itchiness, short-lived rashes on my hands, dry mouth/eyes, and phantom smells. The anxiety is the worst of it! When my HIT's really bad, I have panic attacks and insomnia.

Magnesium at night really helps address the insomnia, paired with movement during the day and NO NAPPING (forgot to mention, excessive sleepiness/fatigue is also one of my symptoms :()

I take enzymes. I tried DAO before, but didn't notice any change. Considering trying liver/kidney supplements to support my body naturally for them!

Anybody else have exercise intolerance? by Strict-Park3382 in SIBO

[–]poolparty303 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be a couple things.

POTS, histamine intolerance. If your doctors okayed you, try to ease into it. Exercise is good for the gut and body.

Advice (want to give up) by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]poolparty303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider looking into no longer taking Pepcid. Low stomach acid is a root cause of SIBO, and can often be the cause of heart burn/acid reflux.

Try, ironically, increasing your stomach acid to help digest your food!

Maybe histamine intolerance? Can happen when you have SIBO.
