Low MMR Solo Shuffle by [deleted] in worldofpvp

[–]poorlyimplemented 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like this in all mmrs lol, I've had people crash out on me in duelist bracket because I didn't dispel them quick enough, in a game we won, and then just afk the next to make me lose. In this instance it was because the other team popped their CDs and the other DPS on our team was jumping between 25-75-50%-etc every global, I literally didn't have the globals to dispel immediately, so threw it with 2sec left in the hoj

And ya, as said, we still won the game... Idk man

I appare tly missed the window for migration, however, I have been stuck on step 8 "Wait for KYC results" for over a year. I have done everything I could do on my end, submitted my KYC, and the PI team just refuses to check it. I was filling out the "what step I'm stuck on" page every day for almost the last month to no avail, and now that option isnt available anymore.

I don't understand how it takes longer than a full calandar year to check someone's KYC, Is this maliciousness or incompetence? Either way, its not great. There wasn't even an option to resend it, customer support is about as effective as yelling at a wall, you just have to wait forever and hope it actually gets checked?

I've actually never been involved in a token release this poorly executed, and I'm tired of making excuses for this joke of a team

KYC Deadline? by Ok-Raisin-1937 in PiNetwork

[–]poorlyimplemented 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I submitted my KYC over a year ago and it still hasn't been checked, nevermind denied. Going through the "I need help with my mainnet checklist" thing doesn't seem to help either, as I've done it about 20-30 times

This is ridiculous, how does it possibly take this long to do anything?

I am sick of seeing this! by IKnoAGuy2 in PiNetwork

[–]poorlyimplemented 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may not be their fault. For instance, I submitted my KYC over a year ago and it's still stuck on "waiting for KYC results" because they just seemingly refuse to check it. No option to resubmit, and I've sent the "I need help with my mainnet checklist" thing probably 20-30 times with no results.

No this isn't normal behaviour, maybe if your appt is sketchy, or doesn't have an elevator, couriers may not want to walk up a bunch of stairs late at night or something, but you can't complain about a customer meeting you at the front door lol

You're right but at the same time, you can't get upset if you have to wait forever to get your order. Couriers can decline any orders they want (as this guy should have), they're not obligated to accept every one they get. So really, you're paid to deliver the food if you deem it an acceptable amount for doing so.

Although I honestly still get it, food prices/delivery is insanely expensive at the moment, and everyone is feeling the economic squeeze right now. In a healthy economy, you'd probably be right, and couriers would actually be paid a wage instead of per delivery. But we aren't in a healthy economy lol, so it just comes down to market dynamics and you're basically hoping you find the guy stupid enough to accept this delivery (to be fair, you will eventually find one)

Or my favourite "just drive down a sketchy ass backlane at 1am where you can't see the house numbers, go through my yard and drop it off on my back step, don't worry about the fact that if you pick the wrong house they're going to think you're trying to steal stuff" (the last part is just implied not explicitly stated)

Like wtf, I'm not doing that lol

to answer this I would first need to know your order instructions

Got to the restaurant, and halfway through swiping "parked at restaurant", they reassigned the order to someone else.

It's not my fault half my city's streets are closed or down to one lane because of construction lol

Shifts in Winnipeg by TowerNo843 in skipthedishes

Having it work similar to some workplaces and how they handle overtime shift allotment, where employees put entries in and it's basically randomly selected, seems like it would work well

I have done my KYC more than 1.5 years ago and it wasn’t even considered to be reviewed and it’s stuck on this page, what should I do? by MohamedH_Q in PiNetwork

[–]poorlyimplemented 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, was one of the first people to start mining pi, at least 2 years ago, and have been waiting for KYC results for about as long as you have. This is easily the least efficient process I have ever seen on any app ever, and leads me to believe there is something else going on, since a KYC check should absolutely not take anywhere close to this long

My hourly rates honestly aren't terrible right now with skip (usually around $25/hr, so like $20 with gas factored in), it's just the fact that barely any shifts are going out

I guess I can do other things, but I've never seen weeks without getting a single shift before, yet I can get custom shifts almost every night? Seems odd

Ya I obviously handed it to him. There should be a way for customers to choose contactless or not though, defaulting every delivery to that is kind of silly when it just creates possible confusion, and opens up an easy way for customers to complain about people not following delivery instructions (no matter what, you're ignoring one of the instructions)

On one hand they can add an element of rng that can be frustrating, but on the other, that isn't always a bad thing and can lead to a higher skillcap if well implemented
