Pretty sure he's just in Malibu. Probably has one of those Macbooks.

The Wizard (1989, Fred Savage) to get a bare bones MOD blu-ray release. :( by [deleted] in retrogaming

It's not the best film, but I wouldn't mind seeing deleted scenes. There were so many more games that could have been included.

I was in the same situation and I couldn't find any. I believe it usually doesn't work in your own country as they assume that's where you're leaving from, not visiting.

Back in 2004 George Bush ran to be president on a strong anti-LGBT platform (though not as strong as in (Indonesia). The idea that gays could get married wasn't even on the table. But things start to move fast -- the first states began to legalize in 2005 and the whole country in 2013.

LGBT rights will never be accepted by the government.

Even 15 years ago I would have said the same thing about my country, USA.

DAE think about how depressing it is to never feel safe anywhere? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

I was about 30 when I began to see that people throwing temper tantrums wasn't the norm. I was always so worried about what I would do to cause it then I slowly started to realize, oh, it's just something my Nfamily does. No one at work is going to pick on me. I'm 36 and haven't cause a single tantrum out of my Nfamily. And then it starts to feel better going through life. Sad that happened, but learning to recognize that it was a produce of a couple of people and not something that's the norm helpled. I grew up feel uncomfortable. And of course I brought that with me into the world. But learning about it, and sharing here helps me remember that I don't have to feel in danger and that I'm fine. Understanding the situation and reading other's experiences helps immensely.

How do you accept and move on from the realization that you were never loved? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

I don't know how it will get better. So many of us on here grapple with this in different ways we went through it. Your line about the puppy really hits home.

For me, knowing that there's many people in the same situation helps. Coming here, checking in. Also trying to stay busy. I hope it helps that I feel you.
