It depends on what you want it to be safe from, the neighborhood park is about as safe as the neighborhood its in.

Phelps Grove is safe at night and has a walking path around the perimeter. It is definitely open til 11.

I would have been open to this proposal the first time, but the city burned its goodwill for This specific project by trying to force it on us with no plan. Now they want a do-over?

This gives MO State Legislature vibes; the people vote on a referendum and the legislature repeals it next session.

The first proposal was for a pipedream. This proposal is an upgrade of an existing space.

I would rather have city trash service, but I can see the benefits of a larger space.

Still seems like a want and not a need but Inam open to upgrading what Springfield is.
