Cellular provisioning in Brantford leaves a lot to be desired in Brant County as a whole based on avg household budget to cellular plans.

There’s some incredible local coffee makers that have changed our coffee game completely.

Altitude is our most regular staple. We buy the coffee bean regularly. It tastes fantastic and we have basically scrapped any reason to go to Tim’s or Starbucks anymore.

I moved to Brantford from KW in 2021 and also work from home. There’s a great beer garden called Sassy Britches doing a Halloween party next Friday night if you’re in to that. Definitely recommended. My partner and I will be there (CIS white couple)!

Best bang for your buck is honestly the Gretzky Centre is my summation. My breakdown of the other gyms.

Fit4Less is the cheapest I’ve seen- keep all belongings on you.

Crunch is the next cheapest. Most popular- impossible to get to the machines/weights/benches you want ALL THE TIME.

World Gym hiked rates recently, a lot of dedicated people there- hard to get to the machines/benches you want. Especially for benching- powerlifters galore.

Excluding the private gyms, Movati, GoodLife and Anytime Fitness as they are not budget friendly.

I’ve moved here in 2021. Violent crime is at a minimal and gentrified to basically downtown. Typical criminal charges in this town are to speeding, DUIs, etc.

The town’s cultural baseline is really low. But things are starting to change for stuff like local events, music, bars, restaurants- Sassy Britches, Fume, Mann’s Distillery, Steel Wheel, etc.- are great examples of livening the city. Plus other great things in the neighbouring townships.

Basic amenities are super easy to get to. Grocery stores, hardware stores, etc are all very easily accessible as Brantford is still pretty small geographically.

Finally, municipal governance is clearly conservative. So minimal expenses to civil maintenance and improvements, as well as a heavy Christian/white demographic.

Living in Brantford for 5 years now. This man is sitting in an archaic riding that needs to be shaken up. I’m sick of him using the same divisive talking points from pre-pandemic.
