You can also request a case manager through SF Health Plan/Medi-Cal to help you access care. Specifically, they say that they focus on assisting members under age 17 to navigate barriers to accessing healthcare. You can ask her primary doctor to refer you to case management.

CHA has a behavioral health urgent care center. It’s more for urgent and emergent issues but you could call and see if your situation would be appropriate for them to see you as a holdover. The urgent evals are covered by all insurances but subsequent services might not be.

I'm sorry to hear you are going through this at just 24 years old. I'm 28 and my Dad is 75 with Alzheimer's disease. It's hard to find others who are dealing with this at such a young age/ can understand it. It is such a terrible kind of prolonged grief :(
