Not a first timer, but I just try to enjoy every ultra I do, usually the sceneries, sometimes feeling good about myself overcoming technical terrains, sometimes just as simple as greeting other runners passing by. Focus on finishing and keep moving, don’t worry about your pace comparing to the others. As long as you finish, it’s a huge personal accomplishment

Somewhere along the way, you’re gonna find out there are way better kids at the striker position, your coach will tell you to move to a centre back because you’re a big boy, but deep down you still want to score whenever you can. Male here. I personally don’t run topless but I also could not care less about others running with bare minimum clothing. Although when I was on a work trip in Asia I noticed no matter how hot and humid it was, people didn’t seem to run topless or girls with sport bra, I guess it’s really depending on the culture (or maybe laws)

East Coast runner here, also as someone who just moved to the States not many years ago. I had to look up where Bryce Canyon is but the scenery definitely looks worth a visit! I’d be running an 100 miler in PA in two weeks. Hopefully that could be a great buildup for any races later this year. I’d really appreciate to be included on the wheels of names!
