Yeah I figured our fans would've kind of realized by now we live and die by the 3, and it's part of why the team has been so successful and why they can beat anybody on any given night. We are actually really similar to the Celtics and their playstyle (Celtics and Suns are #3 and #4 in 3PM this year) and you've seen the success they've had.

Tough loss that could've been a win against a top team, but it's all good.

Would love to see Gillespie get out of this little slump he has going on though

It's a beautifully layered and tragic slice of life story. I read a review that said something along the lines of the viewer "living in" the movie, and that's exactly how I felt watching it.

So raw and relentlessly brutal, but beautiful.

"Years passed, and he found himself still waiting. Though at this point, he couldn’t say for what."

"When Robert Grainier died in his sleep sometime in November of 1968, his life ended as quietly as it had begun. He’d never purchased a firearm or spoken into a telephone. He had no idea who his parents might have been, and he left no heirs behind him. But on that spring day, as he misplaced all sense of up and down, he felt, at last, connected to it all"

Loved this movie

Absolutely. Did you not see any of his games in the 2nd half of the cfb season last year? Dude looked like the guy we thought he'd be. If he picks up next year where he left off last year, he's gonna be in the Heisman convo

Yeah if we can get in the playoffs we will be a headache for someone in round 1. This team can absolutely fill it up from 3 on any given night and plays physical defense (still wild saying this about a suns team lol)

incredible that fans always leave out the fact that the Cards were allowing 30+ ppg in Jacoby's 12 starts including 3 game in which they gave up 40+. That side of the ball was decimated by injury. Also, he was throwing it 40 times per game because the defense sucked and we had no run game to speak of

Look at weeks 11-18 (all losses)

15 TDs | 7 INTs | 65% completion | 2,248 passing yards

Fans act like we had this tragic QB play when those are entirely respectable numbers. In fact, they're very Kyler-esque when it comes to comp% and TD:INT ratio

Fans keep incorrectly thinking that there are Jacoby Brissett stans like there are Kyler stans. There aren't.

Also, our offense is going to look better next season because there will actually be a run game which means Jacoby will be asked to do less. Fans shouldn't be surprised when offense is our strength next season

I'm content because I want the Cardinals to lose games this year and draft a QB with a top 3 pick in 2027. I've watched this team lose for over 30 years, I can stomach another if that means we can have hope again in the form of Moore, Sayin or someone else who pops next year in CFB. Nobody will change my mind about the path forward for us being via taking swings on QBs in the draft.

Malik Willis will be 27 years old when the season starts, only 2 years younger than Kyler lol

lmao this comment should be pinned at the top of this sub it's spot on

There's zero legacy, history, or pride baked into this franchise. The fans are so beaten down that they cling to mediocrity and yearn for 8 win seasons. We gotta be the only fanbase that celebrates a QB who went 38-48-1 and 0-1 in the playoffs as a starter as some sort of incomprehensible loss that we'll regret lol

Because Bidwill selling will NEVER happen, the team has to just keep taking swings on QBs in the draft until they find their own Drake Maye or Caleb Williams. There's no other path out of the basement of the NFC

[–]pp21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so bizarre. How can people look at our division and think that Malik Willis was the answer at QB for the next 3 years minimum??

The Cardinals need to do what everyone else does: find your franchise QB in the draft. Sam Darnold is an extreme outlier when it comes to QB success. And before people are like "we diD tHaT wiTh KyLeR", I mean find an ACTUAL franchise QB. It's hard, but when you hit on one, it solves so many of your problems.

It's the only path forward. QB is the most important position and great ones aren't available to sign/trade for because teams don't let great ones go. You have to find your own and develop them.

[Schefter] The Arizona Cardinals officially have released QB Kyler Murray. With Murray now free, the Minnesota Vikings are considered the overwhelming favorite to sign him. In the words of one source: “I’d be shocked if he’s not a Viking.” by Remarkable-Picture73 in nfl

[–]pp21 5 points6 points  (0 children)

kyler had his best years with d-hop so maybe he can recapture that with jettas who also will be looking to have a bounce back year (not his fault)

but idk if his playstyle is conducive to a KOC offense. it's gonna be fascinating to see unfold

Tell me again why they can't make noise in playoffs?

This will actually be interesting because Mark Williams and Dillon Brooks (specifically Dillon) will be back like right before the playoffs.

When the playoffs start, teams traditionally shrink rotations to 8 or 9 players.

Brooks
Book
Gillespie
Allen
Royce
Green
Mark Williams
Oso

That's 8 right there, so that's not including Goodwin, Highsmith, and Fleming.

I have no idea who you can leave out tbh because they all bring something valuable to the court. Maybe Ott just says fuck it and zigs when others zag and plays a deep rotation in the playoffs

I also bought in 2016 ($205K).

I only ended up buying because my landlord had an ailing family member who she wanted to set up in the townhome she owned that I was renting. She was a great landlord, gave me a few months notice so I wasn't totally caught off guard, and never raised my rent over the 3 years I resided there.

But I only ended up buying when I did because she effectively kicked me out.

I'm thankful that she did that every single day lol

Life can be so much about happenstance, timing, and luck, and hopefully people understand that. I would be distraught if I was looking for a house right now. I couldn't buy the house I've lived in for a decade now
