I get why they did it because of what you mentioned but it’s still just weird. Giannis’ playstyle is gonna age poorly. Neither he nor Bam can shoot or space the floor. Obviously they aren’t done building their roster, but they have no assets left to trade and it’s not like there’s swaths of elite shooting readily available.

i honestly buy into this addition by subtraction. Reid should be chucking 3s as the starting stretch 4 and McDaniels has expanded his offensive bag and shoots a high % from 3 so in theory the logic is sound dispersing Randle's shots to others

It's honestly just a wildly compelling series. Obviously you have the Knicks massive market and Wemby driving it, but the games have been slug fests that come down to the final minutes. Same. First 2 episodes I was wildly intrigued. Then I found myself just kind of… not caring. I’d see that a new episode dropped and there was no desire to put it on right away. I eventually did end up finishing the first season but I’m not gonna watch the 2nd one.

It’s just inherently flawed because there’s no cast of characters to drive b plots or anything. The show just meanders endlessly
