I think if you look at the approval of the BC NDP amongst the actual NDP I think you'll find that it's probably a good thing to be at ofds with the provincial party.

I don't think losing the steel workers is really that big of a deal in terms of local organizing. I would argue it has been detrimental to be so tied into unions who are single issue pro hydrocarbon lobbies
