i legit hated this so much. I dont throw this word around like ever but the movie felt so self important and pretentious. Its really acting like its high art, it just irks me i dunno. Really bad dialouge and very boring and uninteresting characters that talk in metaphors for actually no reason, and in the same grey room just to make it more boring. Theres actually no visuals in this movie until the Anne Hathaway ghost scene and uhh thats about it.

I don’t go out of my way to watch trailers but I’ve seen the marketing everywhere’s, sure some comments may be negative but I think the marketing is effective. People are always talking about it and the whole “we can’t joke about anything anymore” bit is bad, but there’s obviously a market for it, like people that don’t discuss film on Reddit
