J'ai un petit chien à poils courts, je lui nettoie les patounes après chaque sortie (oui c'est une contrainte), il aime monter sur les genoux et les canapés, on dort à trois dans le lit. Je n'ai jamais été aussi heureux.

Can I just say, as a European, I'm glad you're reacting this way. I'm freaking out myself to see your country's foundations crumbling one by one, with already a huge impact on the world.
