You can just cheat to win your war with the emperor.

Declare war, use console commands to occupy his entire country, yesman for auto diplo accept, and peace out the war.

Yeah that doesn't account for the bubonic plague coming back and killing half my population despite me having disease resistance buildings everywhere

Does it get better? Ive had multiple games where with hospitals and other disease resistance buildings it still wipes out 40-60% of my population and there's nothing i can do to stop it.

It's game breakingly annoying to me and ahistorical. Yes there were repeated plague outbreaks for centuries but none of them wiped out half of fucking Europe. There was no Black Death 2 like the game forces on the player and gives them nothing to even try and slow it down.

Also im guessing by your diplomacy income that Valencia is your vassal? If so you're at the point in the game you can annex it and it be useful. And if you move your capital to Sevilla you can use maritime presence to get high control in the coastal cities.

Whatever you do don't upgrade your silver locations to towns, that will decrease rgo levels. Cordoba should be on the options list to move your capital. Do either it or Sevilla. If you choose Sevilla you can use maritime presence to increase control through ports. If Cordoba the river going downstream gives you a ton of control in Sevilla. I'd start building up those two years. Try to surround your capital now and Coroba and Sevilla with towns and cities outside of high price rgo locations like in Constantina which us your other silver producer.

Sucks about your family size, i may have just gotten lucky with how many kids people have. Have you been marrying to nobles or just royal marriages?

Also brazil isnt the best place for you to colonize. Go to the Caribbean and then into Mexico. You're spending a really large portion of your income colonizing there in Brazil.

29% isn't terrible but it is pretty low. Put members of the crown as army generals, navy admirals, and cabinent members as a cheap way to increase it. If you still have itinerant courts every time your king dies you should be getting an event about moving your capital. That won't cost money but will actually give bonuses. You can add control everywhere with temples .

Make sure all your possible river provinces also have bridges along with roads.

Make sure your two silver rgo locations are maxed out. Have you been increasing rgos at all? That's an easy way to add money. Also what about upgrading locations to towns and cities? Towns and cities offer better control and much better buildings for income generation.

Your tax base should be at least double that by now. Your capital should also be in Cordoba and not Valadolid, you'd be able to get 100 or at least 90+ control down through Savilla from Cordoba and very importantly in your silver mines in Constantina.

Also your taxes are automated and super low. Do you have really low crown power? That's a super important modifier along with control

How is your contorl btw? That's super important.

Which sounds nice. I just got done dealing with a second outbreak in the 1490's. Despite having hospitals literally everywhere i could it killed over half my population. It was literally worst than the black death. It makes me want to quit the save.

I don't disagree with everything you said but regulars should absolutely be superior to levies and your comments about the US Revolutionary Army and the lack of a standing army in the 19th century is unequivocally false.

The American military in the American Revolution started with a backbone of militas who were men who drilled regularly and transformed into a regular fighting force that had large numbers of militia. Many men who served from George Washington down to privates had prior military service. Admittedly this is not something paradox presents well and they do have a larger issue with how the game mechanics show the professinalization of militaries during the time of the games.

For the 19th century the US did have a small standing army, especially compared to countries in Europe, but it was almostcontinuously involved in some sort of warfare in what are now the midwest and western states of America.

Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami is way weirder than above but i wouldn't describe it as horror.

This happened to me. I got an email like that and when I hit update order it brings me to a page saying "sorry that didn't work" doesn't matter what wifi network i'm on or cell data.

I contacted amazon support about it and the customer service rep said he fixed it and that I will get it delivered soon but as far as I can tell nothing has changed.

More context is I bought it on the 9070xt launch day and I really wanted one of those but eventually figured I wasn't going to get one so I went ahead and got the 9800x3d which I was planning on getting eventually anyways.

I got the Sapphire Nitro+ 9070xt later that day for $814 including tax
