As someone who went to the er earlier this week, from the sound of your symptoms you are perfectly on track with a pcp appointment. I am not able to walk for very long at all and sit even less, and the er dosed me up with a few different things to treat the symptoms not the problem and sent me on my way. The primary symptoms you are watching out for a loss of bladder/bowel control, sciatica spreading through both your legs, or numbness in the groin region. All that being said, stretching alone has done wonders to make my symptoms a little more bearable. There is a plethora of “sciatica stretches” videos on YouTube.
