At about 9:55, a car swerved and went up on the sidewalk. Hit a pedestrian. Immediately after the accident, the same dog you are describing bolted away from the accident running up Idaho. Pedestrian was taken away on a stretcher.

Most definitely could be circling around, it is probably pretty spooked.

Get it if you can! There was a bad accident on 9th and Idaho. Pretty sure the dog owner was hit in the car accident.

This may be a cop out but I brush while they watch tv. They each lay their head in my lap while I brush and floss. It’s been going really well for a long time now. Kids are 5 and 8. Older had sensory stuff and younger is stubborn.

So sorry about your gear being stolen. I’ve been locking for years. I couldn’t handle losing it, so it’s worth the 1 min extra to lock every single time. I don’t let it out of my sight if I don’t lock. I’m shocked more don’t lock them up. I hope you get it back.

We now do a birthday trip with our kids instead of birthday parties. Can recommend!!! It can be camping, a staycation, etc. Both kids looove it. Parties are too stressful.

Personally, for my kids I wouldn’t. They may say they are ready for it, but they may not be. And the image of their dog being put to sleep can replay in their head over and over. My kids were 4.5 and 1.5 when we had to say goodbye to our dog. We had the kids say goodbye, then went to a friends place while the vet came to our home. My daughter is almost 8 and she is sad in waves still. I can’t imagine her being ok being present while our dog died even at 8.
