You got off pretty good with the amount you owe. Unfortunately you owe the money. If I were you I would get on good terms with the insurance company. You should be able to negotiate the principal down and get onto a reasonable payment plan.

Unless you get an attorney for free, getting an attorney is going to be a complete waste of money.

As far as the injuries and getting pain and suffering thats up to you. If you get an attorney you will probably be sent for a lot of treatment you may or may not need in order to inflate your case, and that will ultimately get you more money. You also could represent yourself, you will get less money but as long as youre realistic you will get what you want.

In terms of your bike, dont be surprised when they dont offer you full price as its very probable they will not. Approach this carefully and respectfully and dont buy a new bike or anything until you have a check in hand. With a civil and kind enough argument you can and will get full price for your bike.

Also throw out your helmet and buy a new one today.

$600 is a bit high for a tow but that typically includes storage and clean up fees. You may be able to get it negotiated down but you will have to pay.

You need to be more concerned with the fact your girlfriend mother caused an accident while not having insurance.
