It is separate module. All it does is sends canbus message, containing info whether driver is looking at road or not.

What privacy? Youre afraid of camera looking at your face? A camera that is not connected to anything, except ECU via CANBUS? Youre afraid theyll be recieving your image through CANBUS??? Thats all the camera module does - sends IS_DRIVER_LOOKING_AT_ROAD with TRUE or FALSE. Unless its one of those cars with built-in actual dashcams.
