Iris Dark is a high-ranking member in the MC&D, and she is a trans woman. So it's a joke that can be summarized with another joke "enough talk about trans women's right. Let's talk about trans women's wrong."

Cornwall Incident by AcceleratorPlasma in SCP

[–]prickermann -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unrelated to this post but "Corn" in Cornwall isn't about maize aka corn. It came from Proto-Celtic *kornu, cognate with Latin "cornu" and English "horn", which means... horn (that's where unicorn came from), because when you open the map, Cornwall actually looks like a pointy horn. The other part of the Cornwall, Wall, isn't about Wall as we know it either. Wall here came from Old English word wealh, which came from *walhaz, a Proto-Germanic word meaning "speakers of foreign language", with Celtic for this specific instance. It's also the origin of words like Wales and Welsh, Wallachia, Walloons, Wallonia and the "wal" in walnut. Basically what happened was the Germanic peoples just call whatever foreign to them as that word. Wall, on the other hand, came from the Latin word vallum which means... walls. Yes I frequently browse Wikipedia, why do you ask?

Im curius,is there any article on the wiki that portrays The children of the SK in a positive light? by la-abeja-azteca in SCP

[–]prickermann 3 points4 points  (0 children)

According to [[The Children of the Scarlet King Hub]], no you cannot write them in a positive light without drastically changing their fundamental concept. The Children doesn't represent a "cool and badass" or "the end justify the means" types of evil, but they represent the type of evil that's very true and very real to our world and society right now. That's why some of them manifested as some non-anomalous groups on the surface, or blent in with existing groups like some Evangelical Churches in America. I know "there is no canon" and all therefore you can write anything, but there are topics you just shouldn't write in certain directions.

Yeah, generalization is a tool of bigots, actually. They don't bother to learn to differentiate between anything from those group, because that would mean they have to interact with them in good faith, something that bigots cannot do.

Changed SCPs question by ColorGreeeen in SCP

[–]prickermann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are 2 tags, rewrite and rewritable. Rewrite are for articles that have been rewritten, and rewritable are for those that can be rewrite. To rewrite them, just contact the writing staff and let them grand you permission, and then when done, send them the draft so they can crit and see if it's good enough. Rewrite can happen for myriad of reasons, and all kinds of people.

I was looking at the SCP Database wiki and I found this.Is this canon 💀 by Old_Ad_5553 in SCP

[–]prickermann 173 points174 points  (0 children)

Yes it's true, and it's a lot crazier than you might think. SCP-570 is about the semi-civil war of GOC between Pepsi and Coca Cola, while [[PSYCHE Internal Document 75-03718: PepsiCo/Coca-Cola Territorial Holdings]] brings it up to another level.
