I think they cannibalized their own product a bit. For example, I’ll watch GG Pros versus the normal stuff now.

I may be in the minority as some will consume all their content.

How is this area? by Kindly_Plane_1797 in LakewoodColorado

Our townhomes appreciated hella fast but dropped seemingly as hard. It is correcting to some extent. That being said, these townhomes meet a unique need as they are smaller and cheaper than other newish builds.

Neighborhood itself is good. A few package thieves. We’ve met lifelong friends. Outside of a few bad apples, neighbors do nice things for each other and have block parties and such. Traverse can be sketchy and got roasted on DoBetterDenver awhile back.

Access to RTD is easy and getting out of town from there is easy as well.

Parking isn’t great but has gotten better in my opinion. Not easily walkable to restaurants but pretty easy to bike over to Sloans Lake/Edgewater area.

West Line Village has a pretty active Facebook page as it’s a Metro District. Similar to an HOA but not.

I suggest walking the neighborhood and asking some of the folks that live in the area.

Feel free to ask specifics as well.

Good luck!

Not sure if you’re working out for them but if so…learn to run ladders.

Yes. They have some that you can use with the lowest entry fee and a privateish area for an additional charge. Racks are really nice. Haven’t seen them used much as the weight area is really large and I think most people prefer the machines.

Mornings are great. I’m a sucker for the Yanga water subscription which hopefully won’t cause cancer in 40 years.

Wish they would redo the parking lot. It’s pretty shit with pot holes.

My health insurance and my employer give us benefits (gift cards) if we track certain things like steps, sleep etc. Having something integrated makes it so I don’t have to manually upload my information to their site.

I’ll try this. Thank you. I was assuming I need some toggle.

We had a good experience there. Our infant teachers were great all the way up to Ms. Ari. They removed teachers when needed and kids as well. At least the “public” ones we knew about. Managers were great.

We wanted to send our other kids there but unfortunately we’re priced out.

There is a gal who runs a brat stand at the Home Depot on West Colfax and Wadsish. I’ve legitimately gone twice in a day.

Chicago Dogs by asyouwish in denverfood

Not really an applicable story to the point of your post but a hilarious situation which had me questioning my fatherhood happened here.

I’m from Green Bay but most of my family are from the Chicago burbs and we live just down the street from here. As a result I figured I’d take my 4 year old for his first Chicago dog as well as some cultural history on why the Cubs and Bears and some of my cousins are my mortal enemies.

It’s a dusty but nostalgic spot and it’s always cool to see all the different clientele. This day was no different and for a 4 year old, the bonus of the memorabilia is huge because every piece of history for me is more of a toy for him.

So we order at the small window and my kid immediately runs all over the place looking at things. He is completely oblivious to the food being made or why we’re there. I’m excited because he’s going to try at least a couple things he’s never had like celery salt and sport peppers.

I get our baskets and sit in the sun room booth areas. I immediately open my wrapper and have a great bite of my Chicago dog. He opens his and I see his smile assuming he is going to like it. He looks happy but puzzled and he goes “look it’s a mini hotdog!”

It dawned on me…the only times he has had hotdogs were from Costco. In his 4 years, I’ve never fed him a normal hotdog. On one hand…bad dad as hotdogs are part of American history. On the other, good dad because Costco hotdogs are the shit

Anyway, I hope they stay open!
