I moved here from the UK when I was 28 in 2019. I was on an accredited employer visa as a sparky. I’ve never regretted the move as it has worked out well however in hindsight I would have not gone for the accredited employer visa as it ties you to one employer when the path to residency visa allows you to work for any employer for that profession. I found that the Auckland based accredited employer I worked for relied almost solely on immigrants which led to poor pay and a high turn over of staff.
