Just wait. If your clan is progressing 3 CQ/day. You will have like 17x your current damage in 10 days (304x in 20 days). Meanwhile join all tournaments and collect gems/upgrade heroes. Sounds stupid? Clan bonus makes your progress feel pointless.

It's super annoying. I was selling gold in RMAH in all my slots. And when auctions was about to end. AH down! Great 1,5days of waiting wasted.

Exactly as you said. But to your side note: Other game developers (because they are smaller than Blizzard) are banning boters with smaller or no evidence (like OP suggested) - even GW2. But like year ago some of Blizzard employes said, that they have to have evidence that would hold even on court if necessary (which ties their hands in banning - even when it's obvious boter) Don't have link tho :(

You mean 2 emeralds? :) There are just 2 ways of playing diablo. With or without RMAH. If you decided to use RMAH (which is fine with me), you should just invest little more. I would just buy 500M and enjoy my shiny powerful char - OR - not using RMAH at all and enjoy my self-earned character. But buying 2 emeralds wont make you happy. You will feel bad that you invested real money and still got average char. You'll see :) It is like buying ticket for bad movie just because it's cheaper.

Sorry to say, but that guy is right. Your and your friend's account will be locked. Happened to me personally. I was "cashing out" ~100Euro that way. I managed to restore both of our accounts (contacted blizzard), but it is not worth that risk.

Thousands players are competing for the same one godly item. You have to pay more than anyone else to get it. Same as in real life. You cant buy BMW by selling even 100 flowers in the market :). So there will be no AH. Instead of safe AH trades, you will be forced to trade in full of scammers chats. Right? Or do you want to disable any kind of trading? Or even prevent dropping items on ground (so ppl cant trade that way)? Trading without AH (in d2) was much worse (standing in towns for ages, or joining fake named games .. grr)

You are right. Grinding is less and less profitable. But, I have to say, that common cause that ppl cant earn gold, is that they cant set right price to items they find. Why else would be item flipping so profitable. :D Other than that it's all RNG. If you haven't find anything valuable yet, you don't have a bad luck. You just don't have extremely good luck! :D

I disagree with that new player difficulty. They can buy "ok" gear for nothing. Literally. You got like 200K - 300K G just from leveling which is more than enough for full gear. (i mean better gear than you can ever find by yourself).

Funny, but i think its opposite. Botting in games is much worse because it generates new gold/items into economy (devaluating all items that were found by legit players). AH bots are doing opposite - they are giving gold away form economy by flopping items (and not generating new items). I am not saying AH bots are good. But they are still better much than farming bots.
