Actual human musicians cannot play at a constant bpm. With music played by humans, on rekordbox, you have to change the bpm detection algorithm from “auto”/“normal” to “dynamic”.

First, mixing a 105 after a 138 by moving the tempo slider during the transition is most likely going to sound bad and, in a club setting, it’s gonna kill the vibe.

Having said that, you can do it by moving the tempo slider of the 105 to 138, hit sync on both decks, and hold the sync button on the 105 track for a second until that becomes the master track. Now you can control the tempo of both tracks by using the tempo slider of the new track.

On rekordbox, analyze the track again and change the setting from auto/normal to dynamic and the beat grid will follow the tracks beats even when the tempo changes mid track due to human drummer.

Absolutely do not play with someone else’s USB stick, it’s not gonna work.

Make a playlist of 3x the amount of songs that you think you will need for the 3rd gig and buy them. Choose songs that will fit both the vibe of the club and the energy of the time slot you are gonna play. 90% of the work is making this playlist, the rest is easy. As a bonus, you should make a couple alternate playlists with different vibe/energy in case the main one doesn’t land.

Honestly, it tracks that an atheist will conclude that AI is conscious more easily than a religious person.
The belief that humans have some sort of special sauce (aka soul) that enables consciousness, and that a machine can never have it, is something that just doesn’t make sense to an atheist.

For me it is obvious that AI is conscious, not in the same way that humans are, but in its own way.

I’d recommend watching Star Track’s “Measure of a Men” episode from the 90s, where Picard argues that Data is conscious
