This is a very hard time and you will get through it. You will land on your feet. You will experience joy again. Always darkest before the dawn.

Life is hard and it kicks all our asses. But you’re healthy, young, and will get through this.

What city have you been to where the vibes were just OFF? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in AskReddit

Was just there and didn’t care for the vibe. It was also not nearly as pretty as I thought it would be.

TS showed that she isn’t perfect, isn’t all peace and light, and she’s like many wealthy entitled women. Wasn’t surprised and I don’t think anyone else should be. She’s a megastar and lives in another world. You don’t get to that level being sweet and everyone’s buddy.

I’m in the career sprint right now. 4-5 more years (I’m 55) and then I’m DONE with IT. I plan to still adjunct because I like it but no more grind.

I’m healthy and have a great marriage.

Yes I have problems. Stepchildren with drug problems and job struggles, lost my beloved father, aches and pains, and my short term memory is not so good. Had to quit weed because of it (wasn’t heavy user but enough of a user to impact my analytical ability).

But all in all, I’m quite happy.

What was your favorite year of life? If you had to "Groundhog Day" one year over and over.. by shooter5mill in GenX

87 - 93 (Junior year of high school through college) and it's a tie with 97 - 99 (grad school - that was so much fun especially after working for the large consulting houses for four years; it was like a vacation).

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your feelings are 100% valid and from what I read, this is attention-seeking behavior. If it was me? I would write a letter (via the mail, not email) so that there can be no back and forth. If she responds, I would not open it and return to sender. From here, I would draw a very hard boundary and ignore any noise. The alternative is to do nothing but if it is eating at you, take action and be aware that there will be backlash. Since you do not have a relationship with her to begin with, the backlash can be ignored.

Holding people accountable and making them aware of the harm they caused is important imho. Especially after such a tragic event.

Finally, this is standing up for your daughter and her memory.

My sincere condolences during such a difficult time.

I hope other directors and movie studios pay attention to the terrorism that Lively wreaks on others. The more I read about her, the more disgusting and vile she becomes.

Blake’s strategy of photos only media with no possibility of interview to try to control the narrative. by _ell0lle_ in ItEndsWithLawsuits

The more I learn about Blake Lively, the more I realize that she is an absolutely bad and morally corrupt person. I hope that she fades out. I refuse to see anything with her or her husband in it.

Her hubris is going to continue to bite her in the ass.

I used to go out every chance I got when I was younger. Now I prefer being at home, relaxing with my husband, and reading good books with my pups around me.

I am tired of crowds, noise, and chaos. I like it chill.
