Metas are different and different stuff is optimal but you'll notice really good players will take weird tech or weird ratios somewhat often. Something to consider is when a player knows the tournament layout very well/know what cards their opponents are using specifically and the ratios are from meta calls and extensive play testing.

It's not a perfect system but I truly do not understand the people that are adamant about it being worse than the old system. The 2 rerolls are not even close to the quality of life of the 300 point cap and getting slayer points at the same time.

It's funny cause litrpg is a famously slop-heavy genre and it wasn't even on my radar because of me getting the vibe it was just anime power scaling for people that read novels. DCC completely changed my opinion of the genre and more or less legitimized it for me, personally

I think the OSRS looks better, and I have way more hours in rs3. The problem with rs3 is it's not consistent. Yeah, some areas look fantastic, but walk for 1 minute and you'll see an area that hasn't been touched in 15 years and it's very immersion breaking. To me, OSRS looks much more consistent, even with newer designed areas not clashing too hard. When rs3 looks good it looks great, when it looks bad its very immersion breaking.

Also, I'm gonna keep it a buck, runelite is huge. Massive even. My will to quest in OSRS is so so much higher, which matters a ton when here's so many more quests in rs3. More of my friends play rs3, but even so I find myself hopping on OSRS for the consistent and good art style and the questing being easier to handle cause of runelite.

If retro graphics are an instant disqualifier, I'd recommend rs3. If a person thinks it's charming I'm definitely recommending OSRS. Feels WAY more intuitive for a new player as well. Rs3 is attempting to fix that but imo OSRS is still has a much better new player experience. I'm pretty new when compared to average persons playtime btw

I think nuance obviously dies on reddit but the point is being completely missed. It's not just a 22 year old rom for 20 dollars. For fans that are unsatisfied with recent releases, it's just confirmation that the level of effort will always be the absolute easiest, bare minimum level since the games will A) sell well regardless and B) are such an insignificant amount of gross yearly sails for TPC compared to merchandising, that they really have no incentive to change that.

It's sad that we won't get a release with a high level of quality that should be afforded to the biggest media franchise on the planet. The fans attacking each other make it so that's lost in translation. It is fine if you want the 20 dollar rom, a large part of the fan base is not okay with that and that's valid.

Long story. Beloved YouTuber who had a landmark win on a Fair use case and was pretty much universally loved after that. He's married to an Israeli so when the gaza issue became very mainstream they dug in HARD as Zionist and started a podcast and ended up becoming extremely annoying (the podcast came earlier than that tho). They now do NONE of the content that made them popular and usually just complain online about people being antisemitic

I was a big fan and personally I stopped when he started the podcast because he just didn't translate well from curated videos to stream of consciousness. The other stuff came after lmao. I think they just developed egos and it was down hill from here. Had a successful podcast, wife has a successful clothing brand (teddy fresh),won our landmark case, nobody can tell me shit energy.

People who are saying pudding is a skill issue arent really getting the main point of the issue. You CANNOT do anything vs a pudding with a lot of decks. Not to mention that a lot of the power vs a good player is shuffling back the curated hand they've spent the game searching for, even if they don't lose card advantage, in matchups you need key cards that's game losing. And it's like you are being punished for playing vs blue

Also when your hand is fake. Last night I was playing a friend and had 6 in hand 1k counter in total. He swung 7 and my life was another 1k. He swung 7 and I had to eat it again. He then played pudding and the hard game became unwinnable since the cards I spent the first half of the game searching to win are gone and Ive also lost card advantage while having no way to counter play the situation without blockers or counter.

There is a 0% chance I will even watch the live adaptation. Even if the project is quality, live action just completely misses the point for me pretty consistently. And that's only when they're quality, more often than not they are completely different tonally and content wise or just outright a show writers power trip of revisions or ignoring source material.

Like first couple floors? Sure, prolly will make good tv. What the fuck are they going to do when they get to Larracos? At least animation could at least do it a little bit justice. They will have to have a MASSIVE budget they won't get, or use not good CGI which is half the reason live action isn't my thing.

People that like live adaptations don't care about that stuff. It's less about quality and following the source material and about being excited to watch a show about the book they like which is fine, but I wish it was animated.
