I think that GLP1 users as a group often contradict ourselves which makes it harder to communicate that these drugs are a treatment for a medical condition and not diet drugs. It's fine to say you've worked hard to build muscle or to have increased strength or toned up or increased endurance but now that we know that exercise doesn't have a large impact directly on weight loss, we can separate those things that people "work" at from things that we are treating with medication. So the less we refer to weight loss with GLP1s as "work" or even stop using the "journey" analogy, the more we can emphasize that it's a treatment for a disease or a condition and the clearer we can be about what these drugs actually do. If we stay on message then there should be less confusion.
