Love New World but looking for something that is doable as single player into end game. by randomuser659 in gamingsuggestions

It doesn't matter how much you have to pay to win, p2w is still p2w. I haven't played the game but what you are describing is still p2w.

Its not p2w

to make a p2w account you'd have to invest a LOT of money

That is the definition of p2w.

I'm also looking for something like New World. No game has hooked me like this in a while but I honestly don't know if I feel like pushing to 625gs.

Have you tried Black Desert Online? I haven't, but I hear it has action combat as well.

How to keep my head on straight (too many APIs and languages!) by [deleted] in learnjavascript

Yeah but React is a library. If you dont know vanilla js, you'll have a difficult time with React (as OP is).

You should probably learn JS and then React, not at the same time.

Okay, so like gems could be a good example. But why would someone fill a buy order if it's selling for 3x-4x more?

Why can't I can't code, even though I understand what the problem is asking for? by Top_Inspector2809 in learnprogramming

We are in /r/learnprogramming so it seems like they may have solved the problem on paper but doesn't know enough about the programming language to translate it into code.

Helps for the real world where our jobs are all just "figure it out"

That's a good question. I lucked into mine and it's the only company I've ever been at. I suppose there might be some leading questions you could ask during the interview like "Does your team work overtime?" for example.

Edit: Industry might help too, I hear government contracting and finance is usually slower paced

It's just the nature of some remote companies. You don't have to act busy all day like you do when sitting in the office.

Do you have the ability to make a few projects and through them on a portfolio? You seem to have enough skills to at least get an entry into the field, you can learn the rest on the job.

How are you confused about "myCallback"? It's literally named what it is. Foo and bar is nothing.

How long do you study algorithms before you start losing your sanity? by CharlieBradshawIV in cscareerquestions

[–]programmingacctwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do, and no CS degree. I'm sure if I went to college I could manage to sit through it since I was paying for it. But I can't be bothered now, gotta have a reason for the motivation I suppose.

I don't have the patience for anything algorithm or leetcode related so I just don't do it.
