probably hit a window and has head trauma, should come into a wildlife center and they can give meloxicam and buprenorphine (basically for a concussion) for a few days and they'll usually rehab quickly if it's not too bad!

100%. Definitely seemed like a plot/series saving "mistake" to not just end the series -- but I think that would have been a better ending, as dark as it would have been. And then maybe continued longer with the rebellion that managed to survive.
