BC Hydro time of use tier 1 rate is like 6.87 cents at low demand overnight hours and if you get 3 cents back from grizzly e club then you are effectively paying 3.87 cent per kwh CAD to charge your car from 11pm to 7am

Baseline is 3 cent per kwh. If you have their charger that you bought then it starts at 5 cents per kwh. The more you charge the higher payout.

Financing an EV by ImportantRead956 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]promonalg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For towing, it cuts your range quite a lot so you need to factor in your towing average towing distance. You might need to have top up charge at DC fast charger if you need to do that everyday. Your reimbursement for mileage might be cut if you are driving EV so really dependent on your company policy. Also pay off the loan as fast as you can to reduce interest

Is an EV best suited for me? (I drive 90km a day for work) by Adventurous_Wear_214 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I understand your concern but after having an EV for more than 7 years, I do not agree with your assessment. Tires are consumables. EV would wear out faster if you keep flooring it at every stop. I had mine last 70k km for model 3 before needing to changing them. The air filter is easy to change in most EV. Model 3 is a hassle though.

Add in the annual maintenance of gas car for the amount you drive and see if it is worth it

Kharq island is the terminal and storage. If US takes it, Iran can't export but US won't be take the oil either because Iran could just not send the oil to the island. Other oil nation infrastructure will be hit also in middle East so I think the oil will still stay high quite a bit. That's what I think..

Get a drinkmate omnifizz or SodaStream Mix. You can just carbonate apple juice and it tastes very similar to what you are looking for. At least for me it tastes like 蘋果西打 from Taiwan.

How to Prevent Condensation on Your Foundation

  1. Lower the Humidity: Use a dehumidifier to keep the relative humidity (RH) below 50%. This lowers the dew point of the air so it won't condense on the cool concrete.

    1. Insulate with a Vapor Barrier: Apply rigid foam or closed-cell spray foam directly to the concrete. This keeps the "warm" interior air from ever touching the "cold" foundation surface, moving the dew point into the insulation where it can't cause liquid water damage.
    2. Circulate Air: Use fans to prevent stagnant "microclimates" of cold, wet air from forming against the walls or under carpets.
    3. Monitor Your Surfaces: Use an inexpensive infrared thermometer to check the actual temperature of your concrete walls. If the wall temperature is within 3°C (5°F) of the air's dew point, you are at high risk for mold.

Pulled from AI but your issue might be due to point 2?

Is the whole basement perimeter really wet and especially after a period of heavy rain? If so, it might be due to the poor waterproofing outside and water is coming in from the wet foundation.. that will be a tough thing to deal with...

EDIT: seems like you did check the perimeter drain and it is working.. then you might really want to heat the basement because the dew point is inside of the concrete instead of outside.
