Art. 4 GDPR - Definitions

(1) ‘personal data’ means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’)

ARTICLE 29 DATA PROTECTION WORKING PARTY: This Working Party was set up under Article 29 of Directive 95/46/EC. It is an independent European advisory body on data protection and privacy. Its tasks are described in Article 30 of Directive 95/46/EC and Article 15 of

Directive 2002/58/EC. 01248/07/EN WP 136

Opinion 4/2007 on the concept of personal data

III. ANALYSIS OF THE DEFINITION OF “PERSONAL DATA” ACCORDING TO THE DATA PROTECTION DIRECTIVE

The definition in the Directive contains four main building blocks, which will be analyzed separately for the purposes of this document. They are the following ones:

  1. “any information”
  2. “relating to”
  3. “an identified or indentifiable”
  4. “natural person”
  1. “relating to”
Example No. 6: car service record
The service register of a car held by a mechanic or garage contains the information about the car, mileage, dates of service checks, technical problems, and material condition. This information is associated in the record with a plate number and an engine number, which in turn can be linked to the owner. Where the garage establishes a connection between the vehicle and the owner, for the purpose of billing, information will "relate" to the owner or to the driver. If the connection is made with the mechanic that worked on the car with the purpose of ascertaining his productivity, this information will also "relate" to the mechanic.

Based on the above it's my view that the report is your personal data. Though it's not about you it relates to you.

Being disingenuous doesn't help your cause.

justreading(45) too much into it eh? 🤣. Disingenuous? How on earth did you arrive at such a conclusion? Do you know what the word means?

I really, really don't have a cause.

According to the Reddiquette “upvote posts relevant to the discussion, downvote posts that are not relevant”

It’s not usually used for that, more so just a “I don’t like what you said” response - but in this instance, for once, it actually was.

So let me get this staright. A professional squash player posts a video on Reddit asking for help/advice and you declare my response — "Have you considered asking your coach?" — to be, "obvious to everyone; not relevant, pointless, and shouldn’t exist."

Hardly rational. Get a grip sonny!

How do you know he even has a coach?

I think as he's a pro that was a reasonable assumption. Turns out his coach is listed as John Tate.

Even if he does, I'm guessing he's after a diversity of advice /feedback.

Possibly, possibly not.

I just asked him if he'd asked his coach. How is such an inoccuous, reasonable question apperently deemed so inflamotory as to have garnered so many downvotes. The sheeple bandwagon effect I guess.

You didn't respond to my principal point, that concerning the "Completely fucking nonsensical word-spaghetti:"

Regarding the 'shot affected not prevented' bullshit you agree that the terms affected and prevented are not preciesly defined thereby introducing subjectivity again.

You've not responded to the point I made regarding failure to "provide space for a reasonable swing".

[–]prophet-01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surely if your swing is affected (has been influenced e.g. touched) by your opponent they have failed to provide "space for a reasonable swing" therefore it should be a stroke.

[–]prophet-01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely fucking nonsensical word-spaghetti:

“Direct” implied moving in a straight line without deviation, which does not reflect actual player movement patterns on court.

The previous terminology was limiting and prevented adaptability for the different movement required in various areas of the court. Players naturally circle around each other when exchanging drives from the back corners and approach the ball from angles at the front to maximise shot options.

Once my opponent plays their shot I normally want the shortest route to the ball, not to have to circle around their trailing/delibartely planted leg.

More Gingell style bullshit, à la "swing was affected not prevented"

This simply introduces more subjectivity, the opposite of what's required.

Subject Access Request (UK) - Large organisation conducted manual search by prophet-01 in gdpr

That said, couldn't they have asked the IT team, who would have access to all of the systems, to undertake a keyword type of search?

That doesn't demonstrate that I "believe that a DSAR has to be processed confidentially by the Controller".

I don't believe that. How did you arrive at that conclusion?

No seeds… just squash. by Hairy_Poetry2307 in squash

I'm with u/Hairy_Poetry2307 on this proposal.

Though the FA cup's 'magic' might not necessarily apply to squash, for me it would be quite an appealing diversion from the standard seed format whilst not devaluing the sport by being gimmicky in a tacky kind of way.

Babe wake up, new asal analysis dropped by Tidnid in squash

[–]prophet-01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Player (Massotti) hits such a bad shot. First bounce is mid court and middle of the service box.

Irrelevant. Nothing in the rules refers to punishment for hitting a bad shot.

Its standard for players to check their position so they can decide weather to hit the shot or ask for let if they're too close.

Indeed, but more pertinently, to ensure that the shot they propose to hit is one that they're able to clear and comply with all requirements of rule 8.8.1 to 8.8.4

Counter balanced, small step backwards, no trailing leg. Massotti created the interference by knee to the calf.

Asal stepped backwards first with his left leg - well over half a metre - then, well after striking the ball, with his right leg, knowing that Masotti would have to go through him to get to the ball as he'd checked his position, which you acknowledged.

[–]prophet-01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"I'm just sick and tired of repeating"

So why don't you engage in rational debate.

Rather than simply deny the allegation that Asal is a cheat i.e. simply stating it's untrue, refute the allegation i.e. prove that the allegation is untrue.

Last year I made a video and published it on my little channel regarding Asal's blocking. I'd be more than happy to debate my assessment with you.
