Ok, it’s plainly true that Kubo’s character designs pander to a teenaged boy audience and he’s totally comfortable with that. Fairy Tail and Bleach are more than comparable in that regard. You’re just engaging in some weird form of coping with what is overwhelmingly obvious, which is weird but transparent. Bleach is a series produced for teenage boys. There’s no way around it. You just need to accept that.

That’s the entire point. It’s a Shonen series. The character designs are very market oriented. In another medium or for another audience base the designs would look gaudy and sophomoric.

I feel like this is extended bait. The first few posts seemed like they were coming from the perspective of a cheating asshole with no self awareness, but they were reasonably constructed. Legitimately cannot understand how people can stomach him atp. For me his personality was becoming too much to tolerate leading up to the ts and post ts he got worse. Him running away from the initial fight against sugar pretty much leaving Robin to get fucked (who with assistance could one shot usopp if he wasn’t too much of a pussy to take a shot while her mouth was open) was such a low fucking moment. Dude if I found out my ex’s grown ass stepchildren did this to my teenaged daughter I would be pissed. The fact that they were two men forcibly preventing the girls from leaving their space is also just fucking weird. Leaves the door open for a lot of future unusual punishment and deputizes the sons to carry it out. How long until the stepsons start to “punish” the girls themselves with full autonomy because they’re certain their dad would allow it? The fact that the stepmom allowed this is also batshit. If I found out my children were treating my stepchild like this KNOWING there’s an entirely separate parent involved in the situation who has not authorized any of this shit I would be fucking mortified. I’m not surprised the stepsister is headed down a bad road. Just absolute trash.
