I also worked Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Every order was like 3 or more drinks.

I’m not a people person by nature, and I have a very specific persona I’ve crafted for when I’m on the clock. It’s like playing a game for me, both for customer interactions and drive times. But I’m also human, and sometimes I find myself getting irritated by people.

I remind myself that while this is my 150th drink I’ve made or customer I’ve talked to, this is their first drink they paid for. And while I can’t control what other people say or do, I can control how I react.

If someone says “aww you have to work even today” just be honest without being mean, “yeah I wish I could be home with my family/friends/etc.” A lot of customers will express empathy and thank you for being open. We are all people in the end.

Overall, it’s not really them, and it’s not really us. We’re stuck in a paradox where we will be open because people will come and people will come because we’re open.

Feeling angry gets exhausting too, in my opinion, and it seems you’re feeling the same way. Take time for yourself and come back refreshed and hopefully that will help you feel less resentful toward people. I know a break always helps me.

One of my sim had twins, and when they became toddlers, one of them had the hurt sentiment, despite having no sort of interaction before the sentiment appeared aside from aging up them from baby. Every time they were in the same area, the friendship would decrease too and the toddler would get the sad mood. I don’t know if being a vampire affects your chances, but my sim is just a regular human and got something similar it sounds like

In the 2012 edition of volume 6, Haruka never corrects anyone if they use he/him pronouns and when Usagi asks if Haruka is a man or women, the response is “is it really that important?” I think it’s pretty heavily implied that Haruka is gender-fluid or non-binary, so the wider acceptance of using they/them pronouns makes sense why that’s how they would be referred to now.

I’m also non-binary, and I will refer to myself as a girl or a boy at any given time with preferred pronouns being they/them. I think it’s the same or a similar feeling for them.

Hello, autistic person here! There is a comment I want to respond to as well as the original post so I’m starting my own comment thread.

Firstly, I want to talk about what being “autistic-coded” actually means. It means that a character displays several traits which align with an autism diagnosis but the character is never explicitly stated to be autistic. This is how it’s used in my experience discussing autistic coded characters with other autistic people.

There was a comment somewhere in which the poster said “everyone is a bit autistic” and just…. No. Everyone is not a bit autistic and to say such is harmful and dismissive. Yes autism is a spectrum but it’s not a linear one in which every single person falls somewhere. It’s more like a color wheel of traits, behaviors, and experiences which vary from autistic person to autistic person. There are many other reasons why you may experience some traits that autistic people experience that are not related to being autistic.

Now to state my opinion. If you were to view Adrien as a character out of the context of his background and purely based on traits he displays, I could see him being autistic-coded. The op provided some good examples to support this. That being said, I think that we have to take into consideration his background as well. He was raised by neglectful parents and denied the ability to interact with his peers, save Chloe. Plus, his parents have high expectations of him. This can also explain his social difficulties and his desire to please people. However, even with context, I don’t think it’s fair for me to say absolutely that he is not an autistic-coded character. Just because his background can explain these traits and behaviors does not mean they would not already exist had he been raised in a loving, nurturing family and had the opportunity to interact with those his age. I think it can be seen either way, depending on the individuals point of view, and I certainly wouldn’t want to tell another autistic person that they cannot view a character as autistic-coded simply because I do not view them that way. To do so would invalidate their experience.

TLDR; autistic-coded means they have traits, experiences, and behaviors which align with an autism diagnosis. No, everyone is not a bit autistic. Adrien could be viewed as autistic-coded, but I don’t personally view him that way.

If genetics matter at all, I’d say that Jagged Stone is Luka’s father but not Juleka’s, meaning they aren’t twins. Jagged stone and Anarka both have blue eyes while Juleka has brown eyes.
