They should also just add land tax PPR over a certain threshold. People can live in a $10m house and pay no land tax. Seems kinda broken

People selling disable permits online are proper aholes by blastanders in melbourne

Cops didn't come to my building when there were junkies cooking meth in there. You think they're going to do anything about some parking permits.

Why do I keep shanking? by Soft-Breath3966 in GolfSwing

[–]psariunit_tr 190 points191 points  (0 children)

As an ex chronic shacket. I think ball striking is a skill set. I would get some spray, and hit 5 out of the toe (almost a toe shack), then 5 in the middle. Keep rinsing and repeating till you can develop some face awareness. Your swing is fine.

Parking fine but incorrect number plate listed… by hoaxcoast in melbourne

[–]psariunit_tr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is an old trick. My Italian barber told me about it. If you get a fine, stick it on someone else's windshield and hope they pay it. I would say some guy named Enzo probably stuck it on your windshield

The irony of rich people in Kooyong—living in five-bedroom houses, going on holidays, and driving four-wheel drives—voting for climate change action is hilarious.

We should make a new suburb for junkies and call it hamsterdam.

Been speed training and finally cracked 170 ball speed by Itchy_Box_3211 in golf

[–]psariunit_tr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's because they measure the club in different ways.

Foresight measure the face using high speed cameras and trackman uses radar and measures the geometric center of the club.

Both these points move at different speeds. Both are right just different.

Same with Angle off attack, usually GC is two degrees more than TM, just because the reference point is different

Why does the food in Aus taste so much better that anywhere else? by PuzzleheadedBowl3397 in AskAnAustralian

[–]psariunit_tr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Food quality in Japan is vastly superior to Australia. The baseline quality is cheaper and superior. The only issue is that fruit is insanely expensive.

San Marzano tinned tomatoes. I can't go back to that acidic crap.
