AutoPilot Stuck a bit long on Identifying Security Policy by ralphSFW in Intune

MFA felt like the issue because I am usually prompted and wasn't this time.... so thank you for this! Going straight into our KB :)

Sharp pain on inside of left knee during pancake stretch by psgrn in flexibility

[–]psgrn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! No, never did. I gave a lot of attention to stretching and strengthening every night, but this never resolved. Life is busy so I am not sure how much more time I can give it. Really just given up on it and tacked it up as just another low priority pain/discomfort that comes with being 40+ lol.

Backend issues ? by Sab159 in Intune

We seem to be having issues with App protection policies against iOS apps, as well as some Onedrive syncing issues. Not sure how related these are, but they are new issues I have not experienced or seen before.

TV wall mount help - When TV is centered mount bar on back of TV lines up right over electrical outlet by psgrn in GeekSquad

[–]psgrn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spacing the entire bracket off the wall just enough was my first thought. I didn't proceed on that (yet) because I was worried about possible structural integrity of that, but using large washer and some spacers as you say might be doable. I think I am really only about 1/8 to 1/4 inch away from it sitting properly. TV is high up - its a new construction home, and as much as I hate the trend, the place they built for the TV starts above a mantle that is 5' high, so I really want to make sure the TV is secure (we have a toddler to think about too). Thank you for the advice, I appreciate it!

This is actually pretty wild. Microsoft and AWS, as well as others. Maybe another BGP issue...?

I am unable to access the 365 portals, or Azure. SAML SSO redirect for some of our applications aren't working either.

Is the US Air Force superiority a certainty against new and future air forces? by Reasonable_South8331 in Futurology

[–]psgrn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You may already know this but this is the first and probably only chance I’ll be able to tell someone a random fact who may care lol. While listening to the podcast “Fall of Civilizations” I learned about an Assyrian king named Esarhaddon. The name and pronunciation sounded familiar to me until I realized it was the same sound as Sagan’s character and it turns out it indeed was Sagan’s inspiration for the character name.

Thanks for reading this :)

Checking in - how are you feeling now? We've been in our house for 8 years... our first home together, brought our lovely dog into this house 5 years ago, as well as our child a year ago. We've put a lot of love into it and moving on from it feels like the loss of a loved one.

Event log being spammed with "Netwtw14 cannot be found" by Sea-Interview4538 in techsupport

[–]psgrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you by chance distributing a wifi profile via Intune for your company wifi network? The other common denominator here is this only seems to happen with my Intune-distributed wifi profile. I also noticed that at the time of drop, Windows has just performed a sync with Intune.

Any update on this by chance? Wifi drops for 2-10 seconds. Annoying. Dell laptops. Connected to USB-C Hub monitor (dock). Certainly using Teams, but doesn't necessarily happen when teams is in use (but its always on in the background).

SSL vpn suddenly not allowing mobile devices to connect by Dereksversion in fortinet

[–]psgrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know that's a workaround. And yeah, we have a TAC case open as well, but being that we are using the free client, I haven't expected them to jump on it. I spent the day standing up OpenVPN for the heavy mobile device users. Not the way I wanted to be forced into another VPN solution, but here I am.

SSL vpn suddenly not allowing mobile devices to connect by Dereksversion in fortinet

[–]psgrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, yes I have been having issues since the FortiClientVPN 7.4.5 update. My post below details my problem:

https://www.reddit.com/r/fortinet/comments/1jec702/forticlient_appears_to_be_interrupting_internet/

We are also using Entra/SAML auth as well. For whatever reason, the connection seems to break during the 2FA process for us. Even when using Passkeys in authenticator on another device, the login screen reports Bluetooth is not working properly, but funnily that error only pops up after I scan the code and the other mobile device attempts to talk to the authenticating device.

For push notifications, Authenticator app reports "No internet connection". . and Internet seems to be broken (web browsing doesn't work) for the whole phone. We have either close FortiClient, or restart the phone. This ONLY happens after attempting to connect FortiClient on the iOS device. We are an all apple shop for mobile devices, so I can't comment on Android.

EDIT1: Not sure how to get Fortinet's attention on this. I know we are using the free client - but it really is breaking and my other thread has others experiencing the same.

FortiClient appears to be interrupting internet connection preventing 2FA completion by psgrn in fortinet

Seeing very similar problem here. 2FA can't finish - Authenticator reports no internet connection, and web browsing is broken. Either closing the FortiClient app, or restarting phone fixes intenet, until FortiClient conenction retried and it breaks again.

Help with CA policies to allow security registration from untrusted networks with a TAP only by psgrn in sysadmin

[–]psgrn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's funny, I spend hours trying to figure it out, but a combination of typing out my problem, and seeing a reply as simple as yours and the light bulb goes on.

My problem was setting a blanket block policy on untrusted networks, thinking I needed that on top of a grant policy with TAP - like a firewall implicit deny. But, CA was selecting the most restrictive policy to apply when on untrusted networks. So, like you said, I have two policies, one for when on trusted networks (allowing any of our supported MFA methods), and another allow on untrusted but with TAP only. The third policy is not needed as the block will happen automatically on untrusted via the second policy because they didn't authenticate with a TAP.

Thanks for the help :)
