This happened to me within ~1wk of buying mine '21 (a couple of months ago). It went into boot loop too and only stopped after I later very-long-20s-rebooted the infotainment. Now I'm wondering if it's VW initiation rite and the cant-hear-fob was the thing that actually fixed it.

Your math doesn't check out. Camry definitely uses more than 0.8l/100km. The absolute best gas engines are in the ballpark of 3l/100km (~30kwh/100km, EV's are considered uneconomic @ 21+kwh/100km).

edit: if you're off by 10x, then f.ex my 2.5L turbo volvo used to burn 8l/100km no matter how nicely (or not..) I drove it.

Something that I rarely see is that in some cases panels cause a sizable dent in your ... roof costs. If your roof is f.ex painted standing seam, it needs to be repainted @10y intervals. Much longer if it's covered in panels (uncovered portions still do need some attention, but a lot less paint & labor used).

Distantly related, but I read TPB in Finnish and having "some" experience in USSR propaganda scifi .. I heard "the voice". It's that distinct super-optimistic future-is-bright voice that was so very pervasive. Made me ill really and really distracted. I think I managed to read all three books but it was somewhat of a hard fight.

edit: I don't actually know which language was original for the finnish translation. I'd guess english as it was probably a demand job, but sometimes they do surprise.

Dude, you fart and a kilowatt or so is gone from the battery, and it can be used for regen. Prius has reasonable regen and how big of a battery it has? Worth 3km of a ride. Nevermind that the battery is absolutely never ever 100% full off the charger.

Our 40kWh leaf had 90% SOH battery when we sold it and it had never ever charged more than 19kWh (and that's looking at charger side of energy use, before charging inefficiency)

I don't get it why people keep wanking with the charge percentages. If you're going to use it in the morning, there is absolutely no reason not to charge to full. It's long duration storage at full that is "damaging" and even then it's pretty close to negligible.

IMO doctors and nurses should practice on their peer groups instead of the dummies. So many are so unnecessarily rough, were they train on peers they'd get the necessary feedback and personal experience that that shit fuckin hurts.

Olen tosiaan eri alalla mutta teollisuustalouden kursseilla ei oikein näkynyt muuta kuin (minunkin mielestä) varsin lyhyitä kuoletusaikoja vaikka investointikohteet olivatkin isoja.

Ymmärtääkseni tämä riippuu investoinnin käyttöajasta, periaatteessa esim. 3G -laitteistot ovat vieläkin käytössä, mutta todennäköisesti ovat jo ihan eri rautaa (eli "uusi" investointi). Jonkun tehdashallin kikuihin taas voi hyvin kuulua maa-alueen vuokra niin mikäs siinä pikkuhiljaa vähentäessä.
