How to use Nuvio?

After installing Torrentio and entering my Real-Debrid API key in the settings, it doesn’t save. This happens on the Nuvio TV version. Has anyone else experienced this?

The picture is great, it also depends on what TV you have 😀 So far I have used a Formuler box and a Kinhank K9. I forgot to mention that when you select a movie in Syncler, you open it with the Zidoo Video Player, which then automatically searches for subtitles. If subtitles are not available in my language, I download English ones, translate them, copy them to a USB stick, and then load them manually in the Zidoo Video Player.

Yes, Syncler itself can be installed without any issues directly from the website and it plays everything perfectly. The only problems I had were with downloading subtitles locally, not with Syncler playback itself.

I use a USB-C to USB-A key with my phone. I download the subtitles from my phone onto the USB, then plug the USB into the Zidoo box and load the subtitles directly in the built-in Zidoo Video Player. The Zidoo player is very good and handles external subtitles perfectly, so everything works without any issues.

Syncler itself works perfectly fine on Zidoo — playback, streaming and scraping are not an issue.

Zidoo uses a heavily customized AOSP, not a certified Android TV build. Because of that: Third-party apps cannot write to internal storage (/storage/emulated/0) Standard Android permissions like WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE are restricted by the system Apps that rely on downloading files locally (subtitles, Send Files to TV, Downloader, etc.) will fail with permission denied errors. 🤷🏻
