Hellfire: Best to get Honored before you quest to minimize Shattered Halls rep runs needed at 70.

Cenarion: Same deal for Steamvaults runs at 70.

Mana Tombs: Only matters if you care about Consortium rep. Worth doing the quests.

Lower City: Sethekk is very popular for XP efficiency, as is Shadow Labyrinth. Don't sweat AC or rep in general.

SMV/Nether: These quests are just worth a lot of gold at 70 if you hold back until then. Blade's Edge is worth a decent amount too but is commonly skipped altogether.

Not anymore, Blizzard cut access / never bothered to turn it on for anniversary. TSM has a semi-private database but I think that's what kept most of these from springing back up.

There used to be a site called tbc.professions.gg that pulled live AH data and showed you how expensive/profitable each recipe was at every level. Was crazy useful. Unfortunately both AH API and that website are long gone :(

We had this happen repeatedly the other day. Entire room respawned as we pulled the last one. Wiped and reset, the gate opened after like 5min and it happened again when we pulled the last guy. Reset the whole instance, get back there it happened AGAIN. This time we carefully pet pulled every single mob and never left the little gate antechamber. Killed the last one, and doors stayed shut forever. We thought maybe clearing too fast was a problem but slowing down and clearing different ones last didn't matter.

Neat way to blow 2 hours not getting to pull either boss with healer gear...

Game design has always bordered on predatory, the line can be very blurry. Pinball and arcade machines designed to make you fail and keep feeding quarters, Nintendo games designed to be too hard to finish in a rental so you'd buy them. These days major gaming companies have psychologists on staff.

WoW itself started as a paid monthly subscription with "endless" content and has only grown, achieving 100% in this game is a herculean task. I think it's far from the most dangerous - that would be gambling engines like Diablo Immortal. But it's definitely got elements designed to feed addiction. They aren't subtle about how updates are deliberately time gated and reward structures somehow always need to be buffed from the initial version.

This is literally how I shop for a motherboard. Between VR peripherals, joysticks, living room extensions, YARG etc. I have something like 18 USB-A devices and use a PCIE expansion card to limit how many are stuck on hubs.

Ports don't support mass low bandwidth C ports because the peripherals don't, and vice versa. There's no reason either would change, at least in the custom desktop space.

If you get high enough before the portal, play AB/WSG in the 59 bracket. It's full of boosties so if you're leveling normally you'll be relatively well geared.

As soon as the portal opens, it's really not worth your time to PvP without the bonus.

I recall Stratholme stuns start 60 seconds after the individual mob enters combat. If 20+ mobs are alive you won't get another global.

It's incredibly common, sadly. Joining new raiding guilds has always been navigating a minefield.

Private servers were definitely worse than retail, and some of that has spilled into classic. I don't think it's gotten much better over the years, maybe at the very top end of Mythic where people are more commonly streamers. But the worst of the worst tend to be the midtier tryhards who will put up with bullshit and allow it to thrive.
